On Manly’s North Steyne, just steps from the beach, Sunkissed Bar & Grill offers a delicious alternative to other bars in the area. With a wide array of craft beers on tap and well-priced Australian cuisine, the Sydney bar and restaurant is a trusted place to relax with friends or family, with beachside views to boot. Facing the east, this restaurant is bathed in natural light – hence the name – and provides a breezy, bright atmosphere for great beer and excellent food.
Appearance looked tired. Ran out of seafood. No grilled items. Service very slow. The food that we did receive was good. Great ocean views. Overall, disappointing.
We sat at a nice table inside the restaurant and the service was spot on. We were greeted, the food was excellent and the restaurant is in a great position across from the beach.
Good and service was excellent however we were taken back when we ordered coffee then were told they had no milk (can you believe that) but did get complimentary ice cream
Awaiting you at Manly’s Sunkissed Bar & Grill are gorgeous views, incredible beers and a family-friendly atmosphere. Literally sunkissed, the restaurant offers diners gorgeous views of the beach, including a verandah where guests can watch the waves crashing upon the shore. Sunkissed Bar & Grill’s twenty different craft beers on tap draw in Sydney’s hopheads, and the cuisine draws in a crowd of its own. The grub includes typical Australian dishes – meaning plenty of international delights – including everything from chilli beef nachos and pizza to steaks and fresh seafood. Favourites at this Manly restaurant include the sticky pork ribs served alongside chips, mint & garlic aioli and homemade slaw, the 300g Black Angus Scotch fillet steak with a side of green beans, caper butter, mash and prosciutto demi-glace, and the Sunkissed seafood platter (for one or two) which comes with king prawns, oysters, fish, baby calamari, mussels and smoked salmon provided with tartare sauce, salad and chips. Let the kiddies in on the fun, too – Sunkissed Bar & Grill provides an excellent menu for kids under 12 years old.
