I requested my vegetables to be cooked a little longer.... but came out HARD, very disappointed 😞

Great service and food will definitely be back with the fam

Had a lovely catch-up with my son and daughter. He said his steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. Us women had the chicken schnitzel, which was okay, but not as nice as previous snitty meals there.

Always a great menu and feed at the Sunnyside tavern

All meals were delicious with generous servings. Vegetable/salad sides were fresh and tasty. We had crumb cutlets, salt pepper squid and garlic prawns. Could not fault the meals Staff were pleasant

My daughter had a burnt cheeseburger patty, well almost charcoal really that I cannot fathom who in their right mind would have sent out. The chicken schnitzel was dry and also over cooked. Pretty terrible overall experience really.

2 for 1 night, wasn't told when we booked. When we arrived we were told it would be an hour wait, ok, didn't realise it would be a 2 hour wait! 2 for1 meals, we didn't realise garlic bread counted as a meal! Wtf. When we asked about it was told can't do anything about that. When we order 2 garlic breads, it was 2 of the meals. Last visit! Never again!

Although a fair wait but understandable as was 2 for 1 the chefs dished up a very tasty and enjoyable food welcomed by all .Thought all staff involved were great

The place was nice. The staff were really nice too. The sticky bbq wings we had for entree was absolutely amazing. The chicken parmigiana I had for a main was burnt on the edges though however it was okay. Chips are real nice

It was a busy night and the food come out very quick but the quality was poor. They should’ve had a very limited menu when they know there’s as show on at the entertainment centre and they’re going to be busy. To much to cook the full menu.

The sunnyside tavern is a great pub for anything. Food ,drink, good service. The food was great. If you leave feeling hungry then there's something wrong with you.

Booked a table a week in advance only to be seated outside in the cold as our booked table was already “occupied” and all other tables full. Pork belly bites very dry, do not recommend. Snitty’s were huge and good value though.

The only issue was that the music was just a little loud and not the greatest playlist for Friday lunchtime as it was very sad sounding and we came to be perked up as we were already a little sad.

Food was great, just a little noisy when the raffles were on

Food, atmosphere, staff all good. One minor comment was a little disappointed they don’t have lactose free milk so was not able to enjoy an after lunch coffee. Maybe would be good to have more milk selections for patrons with some dietary restrictions. Overall great experience and would certainly go to Sunnyside Tavern again.

Food, staff and atmosphere were great. Quick service once we got our order in. Shame we couldn’t order online as the internet service is almost non existent so had to join the long queue to order - everyone said they had the same problem.

Meals were excellent, deserts lovely but way too big. Friendly waitress and good service.

Always get a great meal, hotel always clean and friendly staff. Last visit large group of people with young children who let them run amuck inside restaurant. My group moved tables 2 times. Parents need to control their children and have respect for other diners

My booking was looked after... Service is sensational... cannot fault the efforts of this young team... The negatives are...Dining Table outside was sticky... Flathead fillets looked and tasted like something out of a supermarket freezer, yet charged for fine dining. Given this was my first ever visit, I will be back as I said. enjoyed the young Team so focused on completing their tasks. I believe management was the let down today.

We like going to the sunny. The staff were being smashed with the crowd. The girls on the floor were great. Disappointed but understood the full menu was not available. Hubby wanted the pork ribs but liked his lamb cutlets. I chose the scotch steak this time instead of my normal chicken schnitzel, sorry did not like the steak. Looking forward to going back in the future though.

They were very busy, and it did take 1 hour to get our meal. The food was very good.

The food is great as always. We’ve never had a bad meal from the sunnyside. Will definitely be back

Well it was cancelled. With no explanation 😡 even though I booked a week before our event.

Booked in at 6:00, before seeing a show at the entertainment centre at 8:00. Had to change our order to takeaway, having to wait over an hour , for pizzas(thought this would be quick and easy). Stuffed the pizzas down quick in the drive over. Staff couldn’t handle the big crowd that all had the same idea. Staff was frustrated and angry. Pizzas were fantastic. Investing in a bigger pizza oven might help.

A busy night. 2 for one was canceled. Even though it was advertised

Advertised their weekly Monday night two for one meals but didn’t bother to let their booked table of six people know they weren’t honouring it tonight? Then proceeded to tell our table that vegetables were off the menu tonight? Will not be back.

Terrible service.- lady was very rude to my husband when he ordered. No forks available for diners, all dirty. I ordered garlic prawns and rice and got no rice. My husband’s order was also wrong. Chef was chatting to diners rather than cooking. Overall, a horrible experience.

The prices are reasonable, the food is always good. Happy hour drinks Monday through to Friday. Good local pub

On line booking was not known to establishment. Waste of time !

To say we were disappointed with the quality of the meals my wife & I ordered would be an understatement! We both ordered the 250g rump steak as medium/rare. We both had trouble pushing our forks into the steaks they were that tough & my steak was mostly gristle. Another issue was the surcharge for using a card to pay for the meals, which we believe was excessive. Once bitten, twice shy - we won’t be back!

We had a pleasant lunch and all staff were polite and friendly.

Perfect lunch. Great atmosphere. I hadn't been before but I will be back!
