My meal, chicken stuffed breast, but the lamb cutlets were disappointing. They were a dark brown and clearly overcooked. For $30 it was disappointing that they were so small. One actually looked like you had crumbed and deep fryer only the bone it was that tiny

Overall we had a really nice time. The only thing that wasn’t pleasant was how loud the speakers were, when the raffle numbers were called. The man calling the numbers was helpful, he did have a loud kinda voice. The volume could’ve been turned down just slightly.

Good lunch specials. Large meal size for the special meals. Great value!

I had crumbled cutlets and they were cooked great not burnt crumbs. My partner had battered fish fillets and were very impressed

Disappointed 😞 that none of the meals had the option of vegetables with salad bulked up with cabbage and only 1 quarter of tomato 🍅 The steak 🥩 was tender and tasty.

Food was very disappointing, fish and chips was not up to standard, Steaks weren't the best the wife ordered the chimichurri and looked more like a pile of moss and tasted as bad. Good atmosphere, but if looking for good food steer clear.

Booked a table before a show, (everyone else did to), but staff handled this wonderfully. Food was great too!

$15/snitty night yet charged full price They were super busy but don’t advertise the cheaper price and then charge us more Will be calling in the morning Snitty was ok , chips good but salad was strange, loads of thick cabbage

It was a very busy night with a couple of parties booked into the hotel but the service and food was spot on. Didn't wait any longer than on a quiet night.

Function in room next to bistro was extremely noisy, took away our enjoyment. Had we known about the function we would have dined elsewhere.

Enjoyed our dinner the service was great considering the crowd.

It’s always nice eating at the sunnyside. We’ve never had a bad meal and all the staff are very pleasant. The eatery needs to be knowledgeable on their gluten free items as when we asked if the wings were gluten free we were told yes as they weren’t crumbed. On further questioning we were told they were cooked in the same oil as the schnitzels, etc. While I understand it’s always a risk for coeliacs eating out if the kitchen staff were better informed we could also make better choices. Items on the menu shouldn’t be labelled GF when they are cooked in the same oils

Salmon was amazing, really scrumptious! Big meal tho, just managed the Salmon & chips and a little bit of salad which had a lovely dressing, I’d had more than my share though. TBone was also really tasty and cooked perfectly, hubby enjoyed all of it. Well done Chefs. Staff were attentive and friendly.

meals were prepared and presented well....i had scallopini= while still a nice meal = not the same as Italian restaurants. same with the pizza.. all the same would still go back.

We booked a table for four people on the website which the website was easy to navigate. On arrival the wait staff were very friendly and obliging. I had the pork cutlet with apple and maple glazed sauce. It was the most perfectly cooked pork cutlet I’ve ever had, all the meals were large in proportion and all cooked to the satisfaction of the diners I was with. I would recommend the Sunnyside Tavern to anybody wishing to have an above average pub meal that is reasonably priced.

We often eat here on days the Knights play and usually get good meals. I enjoyed the gf option of the pulled brisket burger but my daughter and husband had the crumbed lamb cutlets. The cutlets were quite small, thin, dry and overcooked. Probably won’t get them again. The chips were great.
