The Eastern concept and philosophy of tao – ‘the way’ or ‘path of life’ – gives itself to the title of this family of pan-Asian restaurants scattered about Perth like so many cherry blossoms. Tao Café’s Myaree branch in the City of Melville has been in operation since 2011, serving locals a signature blend of Japanese cuisine, including freshly made sushi-train sushi and sashimi, Thai, Vietnamese and other Asian delicacies, from slick premises found down Marshall Road, just off the Leach Highway. Southeast Asian food fans will love the pho tai (half-raw beef noodles) and bun bo hue (spicy beef noodles) from Vietnam. A truly serene and satisfying casual dining experience, Tao Café’s popularity demands an advance booking.
The wait staff were very friendly and helpful and the food we ordered was a good portion and was also fresh and hot. We have been there before for lunch, this was our first time for dinner, both times we were happy with everything overall and will return.
Always excellent! The crab claw balls and deep fried tofu with peanut satay sauce are standouts on an extensive menu and well stocked sushi train!
