Food was okay. They didn’t reserve us the table we booked for. Had to wait for diners to leave to make us up a table for 9..

Was there after 1.00pm for lunch. Not many diners. Quality and taste of food was average. Wouldn't return if I'm not in the vicinity.

The fish porridge was a bit fishy on this visit, and the prices of the menu have risen. But the overall experience was good. And we will enjoy coming back.

Ordered the radish cake and teh tarik. Enjoyed my radish cake and teh tarik was made fresh. Very extensive menu with pictures.

They revamped the menu with price hike. Food is average and the portion was relatively smaller than other similar cafe. Not likely to return.

Ambience was good, service was good, food was good, however, temperature of food was a let down. I ordered Curry noodle which the temperature was only luke warm. It's quite strange for food served fresh to be at luke warm temperature... this was the most disappointing part of the dining experience.

We tried the Rojak at a friends recommendation. And had the Mee Goreng too. One of the best we’ve had in Perth.

Food was only OK. However, the fried chicken in the nasi lemak was enjoyed by my son. Also, liked how they fried the hard boiled egg but the ikan bilis and acar were not to our liking. Oh, and the aircond was way too cold !

Food and service was ok. Not great but just ok. Prob need the staff/ waiter/ waitress to be trained on customer service and maybe how to speak properly. The waitress was so afraid to speak to us when we asked questions.

Visited on Sunday evening. Even though there were 2 large groups of diners ahead of us, we did not have to wait too long for our food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Standard of the food has dropped comparing to the beginning of this year. The portion of the curry fillet fish is very disappointing. It is soo small.. But whats in the picture is a size of a decent claypot. This is like a small bowl pot. Its my friend's first experience at Tea Garden today. Sadly it might be her last too. Service is good. Just the food does not taste authentic anymore. Very instant curry kinda taste. Maybe back for the kopi/teh. Just not the food anymore.

Great food, but very bland service. Polite, but not overly attentive or warm. Felt a bit like eating at a food court.

Been here a few times now, but the same issue always seem to be there... food is always not hot enough (temperature wise). Meals again was served warmish, which quickly became cold before I even got to eat 1/3 of it. This is a huge disappointment especially on a cold night where you just really want to enjoy hot food. We were seated then asked to move to another table which no other customers ended up seating there anyways. Staff at paying counter seemed very unfriendly during this visit, maybe she had a bad day? :(

Experience and customer serivce wise was lovely. Two things I thought was a bit of a let down. The night we visited wasn't actually very hot, but aircon seemed like to have been blasted on super high so it ended up being a bit too cold inside the restaurant. Food, flavour wise was good but the temperature was no where near hot enough to enjoy a proper meal... they were just lukewarm which was quite disappointing as together with the super high aircon, our food turned cold before we even made the half way mark with our food. definitely would enjoy it a lot more if food was at the right serving temperature!
