The Beachcomber Hotel

Ot was a very sunny day so the blinds were very welcome. Waitstaff were very obliging. Food and location good.

Speedy service and food was delicious. A little noisy but it was very busy.

We rather enjoyed our visit and meal at the beachcomber for our event. Would definitely go back there again.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Food was all of great quality and taste. The venue itself makes you feel like you are on a holiday on an island somewhere. Will be back

We had dinner on Friday and Saturday to celebrate my husbands 60th Birthday! We had The best meals and great time on both nights ! Loved the venue!❤️🥂🎂🎈🎉

The meals were delicious, staff are friendly and great views.

We arrived just before the Corellas came to roost and before the music was turned down so you could hear yourself speak. The venue is stunning and the amenities are beautiful. We had lunch there during the week and it was perfect. Note to self - don’t go for dinner 🙃. Food was terrific.

Lovely venue on the water. Very busy at 1 p.m. Sunday. Earlier or later would be preferable.

Great setting and ambience. Facilities were clean and well presented. On site parking is an advantage.

Cold veggies for one meal Rump and Veggies Weird Parmesan and herbs on chicken schnitzel that I Didn’t see anywhere else. Not what I ordered, nor what the menu had as Chicken Schnitzel Garlic pepper sauce (yuk) pepper sauce does not have garlic 3 minute wait for first sticky date dessert 20 minutes for the 2nd dessert order 5 minutes after the first one Not what we wanted for an 82nd birthday lunch

Had a family gathering with over 20 people, adults & children. After ordering lunch it arrived in good time, great value for money. All round great day, kids were happy, lots for them to do, everyone loved the atmosphere, was as expected, lovely way to while away a Sunday afternoon.

My burger meat was not very hot nor were my chips but everyone else enjoyed their meals

The restaurant was quiet when we arrived for our booked seating . Service was fast and polite . Lovely view and really nice seafood

we had a great time overall, we caught up with family. The food we had was nice but we felt it lacked a bit of flavour or spice. Tacos suggest Mexican flavours but we felt this was lacking. I had the fish tacos, nice but not enough sauce, Chicken Schnitzel was over cooked but chips were great, chicken tacos were fine but there was no spice/Mexican flavours to the chicken, Greek Salad with Haloumi and chicken were delicious. Serving size was great, as were staff.

I've been coming to the Beacie for over 20 years, its had some ups and downs. This is by far the best I've ever seen it. The staff, the food, the service and the atmosphere. Amazing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family luncheon at the Beachcomber Bistro. The meal, for everyone (13 people) came very quickly after ordering, and we were all very satisfied with the variety, taste and presentation of dishes on the menu. Definitely recommend the Beachcomber for family gatherings, or a good meal, at anytime. The venue has the most amazing views out over Budgewoi Lake, the grassed area and kids playground are ideal for famlies to relax and enjoy with a lovely meal. An excellent place to dine. Staff very efficient, friendly and welcoming.

Very nice setting, it has that Hampton Style Atmosphere. The lakeview is amazing. The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. The food are nice and reasonably priced.

On the whole it was a good experience and would return again.

The fish & chips was very over cooked, couldn’t cut through the batter. Burgers were ok chips also over cooked. Venue is nice.

The Haloumi tacos were disappointing. With the type of establishment and the price I would've thought real avocados would be a standard.

Very hot on terrace ..roof fans not switched on until much later in day I had a Caesar salad with salt/pepper squid Very very ordinary..croutons packaged, dressing no flavour and watered down, no anchovies Also ordered an aperol spritz ..cocktail maker very very slow No Prosecco behind cocktail bar?? Very poor

Visited on Christmas Eve for lunch with 8 adults and two children. Good location. Food was good. Would like to see more salad and gluten free options.

Food was ok and priced well, service was ordinary and the atmosphere was flat. Great location but staff that smile will go along way.

It was my first time since the old beachie days and being a Gundaroo fan in its day, we were extremely happy with the reno's! It looks awesome and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was great, the staff friendly and it will be my 'go to' now. Just a suggestion, more cocktails on the menu including slushi's on hot days would be great. Thanks again, we will be back.
