We were served by the chef who explained all of the dishes so well we felt like we had made them ourselves. The food and service were excellent as well as good pricing - we managed to have 3 courses and drinks for 2 people for only $100. Would definitely go back again!

We dined here to celebrate a birthday. With the covid19 restrictions, several inconsiderate diners refused to leave when their allotted time was over so after being seated, we were apologetically asked to wait outside so that the restaurant could maintain their 20 patrons rule. Absolutely no fault of the restaurant who were trying their best to do the right thing. Once we were eventually seated the staff were most apologetic and provided us with a complimentary starter to thank us for waiting. The food that came out was faultless - delicious, flavoursome and beautifully presented. Staff were attentive and checked regularly if we needed anything. Thank you for the lovely meal - would definitely recommend and return.

The portions were small. Also there was no good vibe/ambiance in the restaurant. I won’t come back

Best Italian in the city for normal cafe prices! Do yourself a favour.

Amazing food. Fresh, home made ingredients, well balanced flavours, and a friendly chef and waiter. This is my favourite Italian place in Perth. The air cond could be improved though, gets pretty stuffy in the dining area

Went to this restaurant because the reviews were good but I thought it was just average especially for Subiaco It was a really hot night and the Aircondioner was completely inadequate The glasses were dirty and the food was ok I ordererd eggplant lasagne but their version had no Pasta in it The flavour was good but I had especially come to an Italian restaurant for pasta As an entree we ordered bruschetta Once again the flavours were really good but the bread. Was soft and barely toasted Generally the place lacks atmosphere Staff were lovely

We have been several times before and the food was delicious as usual. Well worth a visit.

Food was great and the burrata was amazing! Loved watching the chef come around to the tables who had ordered the degustation - a lot of pride and passion was put into the food and it shows! Only downside was that service was quite slow and seemed a little inattentive / poorly coordinated at times. e.g. a few times where they brought full plates with the next course to the table only to realise that the table was already full of empty plates. I’m sure this will improve with time.

A modern italian cafe with good quality food and prompt friendly service. Menu is sufficiently varied and reasonably priced. BYO beer and wine with no corkage is a bonus.

Food lukewarm, very oily Eggplant Lasagne. No garnish. No small salad. Very disappointing.

What it lacks in atmosphere, it more than makes up for with delicious and good value food.

Fabulous food & wonderful staff. It was so lovely meeting Caleb (the chef & owner) and having a great chat. Caleb is not only a talented chef but a very interesting and lovely person with a wealth of International experience. How lucky we are in Subiaco to have this little gem in our neighbourhood. We will definitely be returning and can thoroughly recommend The Corner Italian.

Had the chicken involtini and the pasta all' agosta. The chicken was amazing and well complemented with the bacon and fresh vegetables. Pasta was smooth and creamy and full of flavour. Compliments to the chef

Great food and service. They are in a space where the Sicilians were previously which has now been split into two spaces. You have to try their signature Mozarella dish, just amazing. All our dishes were delicious. We had the Barramundi, gnocchi, and fish n chips dishes, all great. Give them a go, you won’t be disappointed.
