The French Table

It was a busy Saturday night but service was still crisp and food was presented within good wait times. This restaurant prides itself in serving great food with owner well involved with customers.

Great food. Always something new on the menu. Great hosts.

We took my 97 year old mother (wheelie walker and all) out for a family dinner a the The French table. The staff could not have been more obliging, the food any more spectacular or the ambience any more satisfying. Thoroughly recommend it!

Fabulous. Every detail was perfect. The food was exquisite, the service friendly, prompt and professional and finally the decor was thoroughly French and beautifully done.

The service is exceptional and food is very tasty. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes to dine at a up market restaurant.

Took my Mum for her 87th Birthday Lunch Food and Service were fantastic. Mum order the Sirloin and could cut it with the dinner knife it was that tender. Please visit this lovely Restaurant.

We had the 6 course 'Dègustation' meals. Amazing! It shows the great range of skills the chef has. Totally worth it! The wait staff was very warm and friendly, and I was impressed how he knew each course in-depth. We'll be back soon, to try the 'Grillè Night'.

Great food, good service. A little squishy in the seating department but overall, loved it. Loved the singer on Valentines night. (Dr. love) he was the best.

We had a table for 4 guests. Unfortunilty we did not feel the food was up to the high standard we come to expect form the French Table. The risotto was a little bland and had everyone asking for the salt and pepper. The pork was quite fatty and while the dish was nice, the cut of meat could have been much better. Service was good but not your fine dining experience you would expect when paying over $100 pp for dinner.

So good! Beautiful food and wines, fabulous service. Such a great night! Always happy to cater to coeliacs which is often a minefield when we try to eat out.

A lot of changes were made - some good, some not so good. Prices have gone up quite a bit. Presentation of escargot not up to usual standard - needed proper bread to soak up the flavoured oil not just 4 bits of mini toasts. Lamb meal was very small - not enough for my husband. On a positive note - the desserts were wonderful, the duck amazing! We love coming here.

The entrees were very nice however our mains were average. We use to frequent this restaurant many years ago and really loved it but unfortunately the quality has dropped off. The service was excellent .

We had the most wonderful dining experience at The French Table. Highly recommend having Fabio assist you when making menu and wine choices. The other wait staff were also lovely and so knowledgeable about the menu; regularly checking in to see how everything was and if there was anything more we required. We will definitely be returning soon and recommend you do the same.

The service was excellent. Waitstaff were efficient and the food was excellent.

They opened only for us. We felt very special as it was a birthday/girl's lunch. We will all be back with our husbands! A lovely day made very special.

They were very helpful. I rang days earlier and told them my daughter had a fungi allergy and a vegetarian snd they had meals already prepared for her. Very impressed. Totally recommend. In fact already rebooked. 👏👏.

Went to the restaurant for my husband's birthday on Saturday for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Service was good. Very noisy due to a large group of students. Maybe a good idea for future to tell guests who book that you have 30 odd teenagers dining,. Disconcerting as they played musical chairs taking “selfies” Your restaurant is an intimate setting & when 2 ppl book, it’s generally because they’re wanting to share an intimate dinner. No mussels. Ordered duck parfait .. no duck pate. Food came quickly & was ok. Our first time there.. will give it another go at another time.

Valentines night is busy yes but the service was really poor: 30 minutes + to take our order; not enough cutlery, wordlessly delivering plates, and confused about which course we were up to. Food was fairly average. Won’t be back.

Enjoyed the food very much, but I would ask how the particular dish is served next time. I had the king prawn pasta but did not realise there would be the heads and tails left on the prawns. They were peeled in the middle. I may not have ordered this dish if I’d known. Having said that the dish was quite tasty.
