An interesting experience. When we arrived there were probably only 3 people in the bar and no-one in the restaurant. And no-one in the kitchen - the chef was sitting in his car in the car park. Music was a bit loud and didn't really make for a sedate dining experience. We had our pick of the tables. And the menu was varied enough to appeal to most people - we easily found dishes that we wanted. After ordering, the chef came inside and began our meals. Took probably 20-25 minutes to get our dishes. Given that we were the only diners, I felt this was too long. The meals themselves were very good. Generous portions. Tasty. Enough that we could both take home left-overs that then served as dinner the following night. So from a value perspective, very good. Four meals for the price of two!! Will we return? probably not.

I took my son out for tea since the was out with friends, there was a quiz night on, so we joined in. We both had a really good night.

They didn’t have our booking even though I had a confirmation email. Entree was served the same time as the mail meal.

Food was good, prices ok, service good, better than other nearby pubs

Food was very average. Quiz night didn't have a fair number of team members, one team has 10 people and the host didn't care. Also it went on a bit too long.

Would not recommend. Had to wait a long time for our food. Steak was overcooked.

Food was great, we had an enjoyable family dinner. Will definitely be returning again.

Mother’s Day was very busy and we waited longer than usual for our meal. However the food is always amazing and the counter staff always courteous and friendly.

Took my Mum there for her 80th Birthday. She raved over the Guiness Pie and veggies. Said it was wonderful. I had Garlic Prawns with rice and garlic bread. It was absolutely perfect! Will go back again for sure!

Went for the quiz night on Wednesday. Great quiz master, food was fantastic and staff were friendly and attentive. Will be back again

The only thing was my sister ordered a steak rare with mushrooms steak was over cooked .ever won else very happy.
