One of Sydney’s great old pubs. We have been here a few times for dinner and the food is always great and the service is second to none.

We arrived at the restaurant and the staff wouldn’t let half of our group in and left them out side because we had ‘too many people’ (had 10 people). We ordered our food and had the order repeated to us prior to preparing and an extra plate came out. The staff then told us that we had to have more food because of the people but didn’t tell us this prior to ordering. The wait staff refused to take the plate away that we didn’t order. It seemed like they didn’t want us in the restaurant the whole time.

We were expecting to hear music but we forgot about Covid restrictions. The service was excellent and the food superb. Congrats to the chef as the chilli gave extra edge to the duck ragout which I didnt expect. Well done and please keep doing new stuff.

I had a fantastic night with my mates on Saturday night-everything was fantastic and the Barman who looked after our group was a true legend and did a brilliant job. Each and everyone of our group had a great time and we have no complaints or any feedback. Hopefully I can go back soon.

Great little historic pub with a maze of cozy fire lit rooms. Full of atmosphere. Good pub food and with a delicious Pie on the menu. A must-do for visitors to the Rocks.

Just had a tasting plate but the grilled meat was perfect, and the staff were attentive. Seemed like a real locals pub.
