I was third in the restaurant on a groupon. As other tables came in, they had their orders taken and we were told many times that they would come back to us. It did happen, but not very soon. We asked for the wine to be served first before the meal, but it came slightly after the meal was served. Very salty and appeared to be something not freshly cooked and mostly bones on the short ribs which they said they were out of. They were part of the $28 "platter". When asked if they could replace with shrimp, the server said yes. However, later he came back to our table and said they now had short ribs. Shrimp more expensive? I'd say so. Amazing how fast they re-appeared. I think we got the scrapings. Apparently, this restaurant on Terrace Rd. is going out of business which doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the meal. Probably trying to run out of food as best as possible prior to closing. The servers definitely need training in their field on how to work tables. Something most restaurants need. If they were still going to stay in business, we probably wouldn't be back because there was not really any ambience and nothing but a rather plain menu for Malaysian. The best to them for the future and hopefully better menu items and service attendants.

Not happy with the short ribs on our order of the Langley Platter. It was bones with sauce on it and very little meat. We were told at first they did not have any ribs and would offer us a substitute, so we chose some prawns but when we put our order in, we were told they had ribs. How do you figure?

Food was nice, we were a table of 2 & were sat next to a table of 12 who were semi rowdy. Was just disappointed that all other tables of 2 who came on after us were given the option sitting on the other side of the restaurant. Thought I was being picky until it was mentioned to me by a couple at one of these tables as we were leaving.

Used a Groupon voucher here today, went without any expectations and was very impressed by the ambiance of the restaurant and the quality for the food and customer service was very good, food was very fresh and tasty, chef gave us a complimentary dish as we had to wait a while for our order to come out but was definitely worth the wait as we enjoyed the whole meal, would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you

Absolutely loved the food. The poor solo waiter was overwhelmed and unable to make the cocktails we asked for as he was run off his feet! But the wine was good. Will definitely be returning here!

Food was delicious and the restaurant is lovely. Lighting could be a bit dimmer for better ambience & dessert wasn't available as it was a quiet Tuesday night. Will try again another night as there was lots on the menu I would still like to try

I have used the Groupon voucher this time. Even though the food was really good, the waitress tried to upsell all the time, and it really ruined the experience. Drinks up to $9 were supposed to be included in the deal, but we only got the cheapest house wine. Probably won't be back.

Free easy street parking out front of restaurant. Lovely ambience. Love the sofa seating in front of cosy fireplace. Attentive and friendly service. Clear description of foods menu and very reasonably priced. Compliments to the chef for tasty and delicious meals which are also well presented.

Trying too hard to create an Australian version of Malaysian food, resulting in food that lacks the authentic Malaysian taste. Meat was a little on the dry side as a result. They never should have grilled the rice cubes!

Great surroundings - much improved from the restaurant that was there previously. Solid wine list and wide selection of quality ingredients- great Malaysian food. Some meals are great value (platters, seafood) but rice and condiments are a little pricey. Service was a little slow but the place was very busy. Will definitely go back!

We went there with a couple of friends to discover the restaurant. We have been agreably surprised. The food was really good, we shared a mix of 4 small and big plates + 3 sides, and it was enough for 4 people, and tasty. Even without the promotion, the final price was okay for the dinner we enjoyed. We will go back for sure.

We Ordered Lemongrass Prawns, Assam Fish and Nasi Lemak to Share for Two persons (Bearing in mind we are Very Small Eater). The Lemongrass Prawns (7 Pieces and doesn't smell much even if there is any of lemongrass although could see some cutlet of it) and Assam Fish (Supreme Cut I assumed but the Skin were Burned and slightly Bitter). They were both from the Big Plates MENU so I personally would think that the Big Plates MENU (at least for those that we have ordered) is Only Good for 2 to 3 Persons to share at Most otherwise someone will be down to Only One Prawn. We choose the Kapitan Chicken Curry for the Nasi Lemak and although the Peanuts were in bad shape (Burned) the Chicken was Nice. Overall experience was average and for the MENU Price (which has just been increased this Week I assumed) vs Potion Served, It is Not Likely that we will visit Again. However, the Ambient was Good.

Don't confuse this with the Langley Hotel! It is 78 Terrace Drive! Today I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at The Langley 78 Terrace Drive Perth, another restaurant by Nathan of Hang Out, Nasi Lemak and Jersey Jacks fame. The restaurant has a welcoming sophistication with a glorious fire place unit on the wall adjacent to some casual lounges. The rest of the restaurant is furnished with comfortable tables and chairs and there is an alcove should you be there with a group. The brekkie/brunch menu is big and varied enough for everyone to find something that satisfies their hunger pangs. We had the special of eggs, bacon and toast. It was great! My scrambled eggs were creamy, my bacon crisp and my toast, cold, all the way I like them. We had a top quality coffee to start, a glass of bubbly with brunch and a superb panna cotta with the most beautiful presentation. They also have an exciting cocktail menu for lunch or dinner. The service was more than up to the standard of the food and atmosphere. Anu and Dara are valuable additions to this new restaurant. All the people in Terrace Drive, Bennett St and surrounds are missing out if they don't make this restaurant their local for coffee, brekkie, lunch or dinner! A bonus is the parking! Well done to all. Maryclaire
