Toddy Elsternwick is a café, bar and restaurant on Glen Huntly Road in Melbourne. An ode to head chef Ranbir Shergill’s Indian heritage, Toddy is as authentic as it gets. Named after the treasured beverage served all along the coastline of India, a traditional toddy is a refreshing drink made from palm or coconut arrack and drippings. As a result, you can expect the cocktail offering at Toddy Melbourne to be a cut above the rest. Then in terms of food, you will find everything from kale crisps to smashed samosas, and from chicken tikka to an Indian-inspired shepherd's pie style dish by the name of Grandma Hilda’s Anglo on the menu. Advance booking is recommended, so don’t delay!

Highly recommend Toddy! The food is amazing - the best Indian food we've had, and beautifully presented. We booked for a large group for a birthday dinner, and it could not have been better, everything ran so smoothly and the staff went above and beyond to cater to all our needs. Can't recommend them highly enough!
Next level Indian food. I could’ve eaten everything on the menu. Clever, delicious, beautifully presented. Modern. Wonderful service. The owner is delightful. I think this is my new favourite local.
