Enjoyed the evening at Trotters, just one comment, we'd booked & the table prepared for us was right in front of the coffee machine, so a bit noisy, However we were offered a window table when we arrived, if I'd realised would have accepted & changed. Otherwise all good.

A fabulous place in lovely Lygon to start the day. We had breakfast! The food was delicious, well presented and balanced. The service was excellent as well.

Great food, efficient and friendly service. Food options are suited to sharing (pizza is great for this) or ordering the traditional one main per person. Service staff are attentive without hovering, and warm without being disingenuous.

Trotters is by far the most reliably excellent restaurant on the Lygon Street precinct. The menu is safe and reliable, neither experimental nor gastronomic. The service is usually first-rate. It is my go-to place to eat.

We went on a busy Saturday night and everything was exceptional. Our waitress Kimberly made wonderful suggestions to match food with the wine we brought. Being BYO is just an added bonus.

Overall a great experience. Great selection on menu including breakfast on the weekend till 3pm. Service was quick and professional. Coffee was delicious. Wood fired pizzas were great!

The food was really good...veal scallopino yummy, barimundi lovely, good hamburger & kangaroo salad. We are regulars (weekly / fortnightly) at Trotter's it was disappointing that the waitress kept asking us if we wanted the bill and seemed keen to move our table of 4 out after arrival at 6.30 - we left at 8 and had dessert & coffee nearby.

Have not been there in a while but service and food was decent. I would say slightly above average. Nothing too special but the downside is there is a surcharge for any form of cashless payment which is not great.

This is the 3rd time we've been to Trotters & it gets better every time. Atmosphere is warming. The staff are friendly. And the food is always amazing!

Trotters is a neighbourhood gem that serves good food at reasonable prices with friendly service too. Our group enjoyed pizza, fettucine, calamari, ravioli and risotto as well as kahlua creme brulee and sticky date pudding. It is great that they take bookings for large groups but we appreciate that we have always been fitted in when we visit as a couple.

Everything was great. GF options galore. Very knowledgeable on Coeliac Disease. Service was good. Great upstairs area for small functions. Will definitely return again soon.

I have been going to Trotters for many, many years. It is such a Lygon St icon, it is always a lovely experience with great food. The meal I enjoyed last night was one of the best dishes I have ever had anywhere. Tasty crispy skin salmon, cooked to perfection, with black rice and clams. It was so delicious. Trotters should be your on Lygon St favourites list.

Trotters is an extremely welcoming, friendly environment with scrumptious yummies that also cater for G/F peeps. Lovely staff. Great wines. A delicious experience was had every time I've been there. Highly recommend this casual yet salubrious eatery!

I was so happy to be meeting up with an old friend. This was the perfect place. Great atmosphere and the lady who looked after us was just so lovely.

Food was tasty and a fair price. Atmosphere was perfect but our waitress just was not interested, we didn't receive our water jugs refilled, I had to ask more than once for an additional drink, we waited for a too long for her to take our order and wanted to order additional drinks and couldnt locate her. I probably wouldn't return based on this and the abundance of restaurants on Lygon St,
