About Umi Sushi + Udon

Umi Sushi + Udon in Darling Harbour has been called the best Japanese restaurant outside of Japan and it doesn’t take long to work out why. Located in the Darling Quarter on Harbour Street in Sydney, Umi Sushi + Udon prides itself on offering over 100 different types of sushi. But that’s not all that’s on offer at Umi Sushi + Udon as there is also a wide range of delicious udon dishes as well as an a la carte menu. For those who are unaware, sanuki udon is a type of noodle which is traditionally popular in the Shikoku region of Japan and is famous for being square in shape, incredibly tasty and often served in soups. Open daily from lunch until late, Umi Sushi + Udon is the sister restaurant of Umi Sushi & Bar in Haymarket and the more recent Umi Sushi Express in the Sydney CBD. Umi Sushi + Udon is perfectly located and can often get incredibly busy, especially on weekends, so in order to avoid missing out, it is always recommended to book in advance.
