Amazing food … authentic and reasonably priced and very much appreciated the chef whipping us up a dessert of sticky rice with caramelised peach and coconut ice cream! The taste combo was amazing. The pineapple fried rice and the coconut crumbed prawns were superb. So many more items to try next time ! Forgot to mention the lovely mango mocktail …

The restaurant is in a modern building at the bottom of a long-stay hotel. It was certainly not busy, and the lunchtime service was slow. We were not in a hurry, and the air conditioner cooling was very pleasant. I started to order our usual Thai salad, a green curry, and a Thai Pad but then noticed the menu had several specials. One was BBQ porterhouse steak, and another was grilled salmon. We often have both at home. Still, it was interesting to see what they did. Both dishes were well prepared. The salmon fillet had been grilled and then served whole in a serving dish of Thai green curry with vegetables. It was nice eating the two together, and I will certainly order them again. The porterhouse was a thin fillet that had been BBQ with some spices. It was served whole and then cut into thin strips. It came with a sauce with some chilli on the side. It was fine, but I would probably order something different next time.

Best Thai food in Hawthorn. Definitely worth checking it out.
