On Cotton Tree Parade, Yabbi’s Restaurant on the Sunshine Coast is raising the bar for modern Australian cuisine. Restaurateur Jodie has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this restaurant the well-oiled machine that it is today, and the service team works with a level of professionalism that’s hard to come by. With premium Australian meats, fresh local produce and a menu that changes seasonally, Yabbi’s Restaurant in Maroochydore settles for nothing less than the best in their dishes – we recommend their Moreton Bay bug tail gnocchi with lemon myrtle sauce, crispy skin salmon with root vegetables and citrus, or the chicken breast with macadamia, salad greens and rice.
Not only is the Seafood Chowder to die for, the service was impeccable. The young lady that attended to us was friendly and efficient. Very good value for money.
Visited Saturday for lunch to celebrate Great Granddad's 92nd birthday; everyone enjoyed their meals, and the staff were particularly good with the children. The ambiance is also nice.
Great service! Thanks Kate! And thank you to the chef for the fantastic Morton bay bugs!!!! Share platter is a wonderful tasting for 2 people to share.
Friendly service, great food. Each member of our party enjoyed their food and time there. Will be back again soon. Seafood Chowder to die for.
Well worth attending there. The selection of mains were excellent as were the deserts. Outstanding customer service accompanied by a great location & dining atmosphere. It was well worth the price. Most of all my company at dinner topped off a fantastic night. Will go there again.
Excellent staff service and beautiful food. I have been twice so far since discovering Yabbis and will certainly return. Nothing was too much trouble and a lovely gesture on our dessert plate showed, in chocolate, Happy Anniversary, which made our evening very memorable. Thanks Yabbis.
Overall the experience was good, staff were attentive and friendly, the food was good, but not great and a it’s bit pricey Just. A few odd things like: perfectly cooked scallops - without flavor, oysters kilpatrick - with what tasted like BBQ sauce instead of Worcestershire. BUT - the pork belly was wonderful :)
Prompt service - tasty food. Been here before, will go again. We shared the pate for entree - my Pork Belly with Scallops was delicious (right size for me, but some may think it small), partner enjoyed the grilled haloumi with mushrooms.
Lovely small family owned restaurant. Friendly wait person (Granma?) I enjoyed my chicken with garlic prawns. A good side of veggies for a change- not the usual beans & broccolini. Hubby enjoyed his steak although he would have preferred a sirloin.
We had a nice meal. Service was great. The seafood platter was ok - for $120 for two, we have had better value ones elsewhere. There seemed to be a lot of regulars there so I guess they are pleasing customers.
