Great drinks, service and overall atmosphere. Will definitely be back

We made a reservation for 8.15pm online, which was confirmed. It was not very busy when we arrived, and were told to sit anywhere. When we went to order food we were told the kitchen had closed due to not being busy. Stayed for a few cocktails anyway, which were okay but tasted quite weak with a lot of ice

Staff were fantastic and very attentive without being overbearing! Drinks were great and 16$ cocktails is a great deal. All staff were so friendly and accomadating. It was quiet when we went but music and atmosphere was still good and perfect for having a chat! Always love 5 Sawyers and will definitively be coming back soon :))

I only had a drink and no food. Something was going on as the wine and beer selection was minimal

We had a really nice dinner here. Our table was ready and waiting when we arrived, which was a great start. The food was good and came out promptly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

We went for Drag Bingo and it was amazing! Along with the staff, they were so lovely!

It was a bit loud because it was full but the food, drinks and service made up for it. Fabulous food - one of the best dining out meals we have had.

Terrible service Had to wait long time for food Had no chips, so brought out sweet potato chips without checking if that was ok Then had to wait even longer for replacement of wrong meal No sense of urgency or apology from any staff

Would have to be the best cocktails in Newcastle. I have been in this industry for a very long time and the cocktails were amazing, not to mention the hospitality and food. Would definitely recommend this night for anyone and everyone oh and if you like truffle, you have to have the truffle polenta….. mmmmmm

Pizza was very average for the price. It was more like a $10 value. We won't eat there again. Cocktails were a good price however.

Lovely place to meet friends for a drink and nibble! The menu was excellent as the portion sizes for sharing were really good and almost everything on the menu had a gluten free option (even all the pizzas!). The black ink squid was excellent! Thank you, see you again soon 😃
