Best Japanese food in Brighton! Friendly staff. We the last to leave but they didn’t try and hurry us out like some places do! We’ll be back.
Always reliable, delicious, fresh food. Good service. A good choice for families or groups. We always enjoy going to this restaurant with family or friends.
Great food, beautifully presented with friendly service, some of the best sushi and sashimi I have had recently, I recommend it for anyone who would like some good Japanese food in the Bayside area.
Delicious food, amazing service. Great that it is BYO wine. Miso eggplant and the beef teriyaki were incredible. Great vibe, not too loud. Definitely book!
Great food friendly staff always enjoy eating there. The Agadashi Tofu and the sashimi and sushi platter to share are a must. They also make steamed rice with seaweed and sesame seeds which is unusual and yummy. I would highly recommend Akaba for a casual night out.

Great food and service. Every dish was delicious- We tried the scallops, the eggplant, the special beef, gyoza and sushi. The sushi wasn’t the best I’ve had but would definitely go back.
