Andiamo Trattoria - Kensington Street

We sat at a table for 6 in a semi-outdoor location, which was very pleasant. The service was friendly, the food good, the portion sizes reasonable - a small pizza is fine for one person. The only (minor) glitch was that the one salad order took a lot longer to arrive than the pizzas and pastas. I had a glass of Italian pinot grigio, which was lovely - off-dry, and perhaps more of what we'd call a pinot gris style in Australia.

It was fine as a suburban restaurant only it is in the city and charging city prices. The staff were very friendly which helped with the nights enjoyment.

Location was beautiful and the food was amazing. Would definentley reccomend this restraunt to anyone who loves Italian food. Ordering the lasagne is a must!

Overall, a good experience. The food was quite satisfying. For main, I ordered the tortellini boscaiola and a small sized margarita pizza. Wow! that Tortellini was amazing - really enjoy the tanginess of the dish. Service definitely needs work though - Ordered a glass of wine with my dishes, and it never arrived. Had to point it out in the bill, or else I would've been charged for it.

Great little place with great food. It's in an up and coming funky part of Broadway / Central Park so I would definitely recommend a visit

Great little restaurant, was busy but had pre booked an hour before so no wait, food was excellent, good service and the waiters were lovely. Would definitely return

Ambient and service was good however the portion of food could be more generous for the price. Mains could do a better variety as well.

Overall out emails where good. My daughter tried to order a sweet cocktail but waiter's suggestion proved to be similar to a wine spritzer which isn't sweet. Our starter of a garlic pizza had no garlic on it! We did ask for garlic on our mains though and they got that right at least. I would probably give Andiamo another try.

THE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD,FOOD WAS AVERAGE TO POOR . THE ENTREE WAS SERVED COLD,THE PIZZAS NOT GREAT BEING DOUGHY AND TASTELESS.WINE SELECTION GOOD. VERY DISAPPOINTING OVERALL WONT BE RETURNING.

Service good. Venue is comfortable, staff friendly food was reasonably priced. Would probably go again but veal was tough. If I return I will try their pasta.

We really enjoyed our meal. And will definitely be back. We did find it pretty dark and so hard to read the menu and so it would be good if they could lift the lighting.

Friendly service and lovely food - the gnocchi was divine! We sat outdoors and with fairy lights and heaters it was a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely return!

Andiamo Trattoria has a lovely Ambience and was well patronised which is always a good sign. Food was yummy, service not bad but sitting in the shade outside was a little chilli! A small thing we should of asked for the heaters to be turned on but a small thing overall. Would happily go back!

Usual high standard, the fried calamari was light and fluffy. The arancini were not what I would call arancini but great nevertheless. And Vicky the Lithuanian waitress is a joy

Great food but service was a bit lacking, kind of ended our dining experience on a sour note. There appears to be a lack of communication between the servers as we had to request some items multiple times before receiving it.

Great Trattoria experience. Even to the second of red wine in carafes. Takes me back to the streets of Rome. Keep up the good work.

Great atmosphere, even better waiters, and the food was absolutely AMAZING!! I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone, I can not praise this restaurant enough.

First time at Andiamo Trattoria and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a very nice meal. The atmosphere and service was very good. Would have no hesitation in dining here again.

Nice pizza dough and flavour, however, because there was no cheese or sauce it was quite dry. The menu plastic sleeves is new enough to have the fuel smell, which was unpleasant. Great location and atmosphere.

Great food and attentive service. And does not break the bank. What's there not to like? The four cheese pizza was especially good, but there's also a lovely buzz around the place. I'll go back dragging there friends and family.

The service was slow and seemingly offered reluctantly. We had to ask for water to the table and for the wine to be brought. the food was presented nicely, although the scaloppini was not as tender as it ought to have been.

Service staff were pleasant,but slow. Requested second bottle of wine,but served late and we have had to take away the bottle after consuming quarter. Veal was hard to eat. Left quarter eaten. Mussels and Spinach Fritters were excellent. Pasta was nice. Risotto was tasty,but not creamy. Credit to the Service Staff,particularly the gentleman with whom we settled the bill. Left 10% Tips

Average restaurant, the food was very average and portions quite small, especially kids meal were very small. The aperol spiritz was a big dissapointment. Nice location and friendly staff.

Overall a very good experience. A busy night - good service, food & atmosphere. Kensington St is an interesting food hub & a rustic Italian is a good addition.

Delicious food, nice location and venue. Service was average. Perhaps not enough staff working on that night as we had to wait a long time to get table service before and after or meal.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. This time, the portion sizes for the kids pasta was half the size of last time, yet the price was the same... we had to order the kids more food, because they were still hungry. I was a little disappointed.

I was excited to see this new addition but I don't think I would return. Pizza base wasn't very tasty but pasta had good flavour. Good location but the area has other more Italian and authentic tasting pizza places.

They're still quite a new restaurant, so still settling in (as can be understood) but the food was fantastic and the service was great. Would be useful for them to perhaps work on expanding their dessert menu, but it's still early days yet!

What a great location, you can go for a drink at the Old Clare Hotel beforehand or after! Food is outstanding, we had such a great night, good service too!

The location and ambience of the restaurant was great and the service was really good. The food and drinks were really good and some even above expectation. Loved the mushroom and fetta bruschetta, definitely a must try if you visit. Thank for a great experience.

The food and service at this Italian restaurant was great. I loved the pizza with its generous amount of toppings. I would recommend it as a nice place for group dinners.

Very nice pizza. I can't get over how good the dough is, it's so different to other pizzas I've had and the it was just a joy to squish between the teeth. The pumpkin ravioli was also good on the texture aspect, however, I thought that the sauce was too sweet given the sweetness of the pumpkin inside. It's a shame that the law doesn't prevent smokers outside the restaurant. For a long time I had to eat the pizza with a cigarette smoke flavour from outside. Maybe the staff could monitor this situation and close the doors. Overall, a very nice experience.

The service was great, very attentive and food quality was excellent. The menu options were good and the pasta portions were just right. I would definitely visit again.
