Asian Gourmet on the Pier

Great staff & location food very tasty the only down side is that they only serve one size fried rice which was way too much for the two of us.

An overall lovely experience. We had a banquet. The only downside was too much food!! Would recommend for small or large groups. Staff very attentive

Pleasant atmosphere and good food. Good place to eat with friends. If you like Asian food then you will enjoy Asian Gormet on the pier.

Average meal and three of us had nearly finished meal before fourth person sat waiting. Then they cleared plates while someone still trying to finish

Great experience, good food, service & atmosphere! Will definitely be back! The staff were all very helpful, we had the banquet and it was amazing. They offered to cook us more of any dish we had on the banquet.

Food was quite good, location was great. Service was not too bad. My issue is that smokers sitting outside for dinner and smoke came into the restaurant which made the experience not too great.

Asian Gourmet on the Pier is located on the Elizabeth St Pier with Salamanca Place to the right and Hunter St. to the left, with water on both sides it is a wonderful location. Unfortunately it was not warm enough for us to dine outside our window seat still offered wonderful views of the harbour. We began our meal with Duck lettuce rolls which were very juicy and delicious. Then followed Moreton Bay bugs in XO sauce.....yum. These are my favourite shell fish and they were prepared perfectly without taking away from the delicate taste of the bug. I would have loved more. A glass of bubbles accompanied our meal. Definitely will return.

A last minute decision to dine out, we booked a table on line at Asian Gourmet on the Pier and were greeted cheerfully and were quickly shown to our table by a window which looked out onto the pier. Friendly service. Delicious spring rolls and mongolian lamb. Kids loved mastering their whole meal with chopsticks.

Great service and beautiful food! Definitely up there as one of our favourite restaurants now! Can't fault anything. Looking forward to returning very soon :

Excellent food, good atmosphere, friendly attentive staff- all good. Will have no hesitation in recommending to others. Harbourside location is plus when taking visitors for a meal. The music was very easy listening and was at an appropriate level to allow conversation. Many thanks.

great surroundings by the waterfront. goood selection of seafood dishes cooked chunese style. place was easy to find in central hobart. would recommend for food and location.

The batman just stared at us for about 10 minutes before coming and asking for our order. The food was very ordinary. We had a range of dishes but they all tasted the same - boring and flat. I won't be back.

Excellent food , colourful dishes . friendly attentive waiting staff, wonderful choice of menu . Staff have good knowledge of the menu . Good wine list.

The service was excellent. The food is the best. The restaurant staff are so polite and courteous, is one of the better places to eat in Hobart. Not to mention down on the waterfront
