Perfectly matching its chic decor, there is an air of cafe-meets-wine bar in this Surry Hills haven, yet the food is truly world-class – even nonna would be impressed. Always excellent from the moment you walk in until the time you leave, friendly staff who are entirely across a menu that shifts with the season, great daily specials and able to give tips on the extensive wine list too. Last night i had the fried egg on asparagus and smoked ricotta, it was a triumph and surprisingly light, perfect for midsummer in Sydney
