What once was the Bellevue Hill Flower Market is now a combined cafe, restaurant and flower shop known as Bar Mia Pizzeria Ristorante. Beginning as a small florist back in 2002, Bar Mia has evolved tremendously over the years and is proud to continue serving locals from all across Sydney. Located on Bellevue Road, just down the road from Bellevue Park and Cooper Park, Bar Mia Pizzeria Ristorante is known for their friendly atmosphere and fresh traditional Italian eats.

Both a flower shop and a pizza restaurant, this family-run establishment in Bellevue Hill consistently impresses diners with their friendly attitude, delectable pizzas and lovely atmosphere. There’s outdoor seating for warm days, and when dining inside, guests can see – and most importantly, smell – the pizzas being freshly baked in Bar Mia’s wood-fired pizza oven.

Unique pizzas and boldly flavoured pasta dishes form the basis of Bar Mia Pizzeria Ristorante’s extensive but straightforward menu. Using dough that rises over a two-day period, the pizzas feel light and airy, with just the perfect amount of elasticity and crispness. Plus, the dough is made from either organic spelt or multigrain flour, for all the health nuts out there. One of our favourite pizzas would have to be the porchetta e porcini, a pie topped with pomodoro, mozzarella, homemade oven-roasted pork, porcini and parmigiano. All of the pastas are also fantastic, especially the traditional lasagna and the homemade spinach and ricotta cannelloni.
