Really great curries and nans! Particularly like the Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Balti and Madras Chicken. They also do a great Peshwari Nan.

Did not like it when they turned the lights in and started mopping the floor and it was not even 10.30. Pretty poor really and waitresses lacked personality. The food was enjoyable.

All about the Balti chicken, amazing dish. The samosas are also very good. Momas aren't too shabby. Tried the chicken curry special for October which was also very nice.

Food was tasty and prices were reasonable. Spicy too if that is your thing. Main complaint was that the waiting staff were not attentive enough. We needed to several times call out to them for either more drinks or place our order.

Brilliant as usual, great food and comfortable dining. Will be going back for the Birmingham Balti. Surprised to get an easy park on a Sunday night.

Have been to base camp a few times and am never disappointed with the delicious food here. Always busy but welcoming and friendly athmophere. Definitely recommend booking if you want a table though !

Excellent food excellent service. one of the best Indian and Nepalese restaurants in all of Melbourne. Being Sunday, it was relatively quiet. And $25 per person though we ate a lot!

Best curry iv had in melbourne great entree aswell if you are in to currys i highly recommend going and checking it out as you will not be disappointed

A lovely time and the food was exceptional, without costing you a mint. The service was relatively good. You can book on line and have your reservation acknowledged and confirmed within five minutes. I certainly will be returning.

food is fantastic and the restaurant has a pleasant ambience. Waitresses are friendly and offer good suggestions on what you could order from the menu. The wines on their list however, do not adequately pair with the food on offer and needs improvement.

We went for a midweek night out and there was great choice for all of us including a vegetarian. The Nepalese ice beer was refreshing and a good choice to have with the curries.

Food was ok. Dumplings were a bit dry as was the chilli beef. Service was ok. Really better for takeaway I imagine. Convenient for a night at the cinema.

Very well presented restaurant in Westgarth opposite the Cinema. Easy to find, parking ok, up the hill. Food and service was great! Would definitely return. Staff were attentive as well and reasonably priced.

Fantastic food and service. The only very small negative was a long delay between entre and main but when it came out it was devine.

Loved all of the entrees and curries, the tandorri chicken was one of the best I've had such a good smoky flavour. The ambiance was great, I just didn't like there version of butter chicken, but the balti and the spicy beef one we had were great :)

Very friendly staff. Warm and comfortable setting decorated with original paintings from Nepal. Enjoyed watching the chefs preparing the wonderful, flavoursome food served in plentiful proportions . Great value for money!

Love the food generally but Lamb Saag not up to normal - a bit bland. Took a while for waitress to take our order last night. Otherwise still a favourite for the price.

We booked an early 5:30pm Saturday table for four at Base Camp as we were going to see a film across the road at Westgarth Cinema. We enjoyed vegetarian samosas for entree which were golden and crunchy on the outside, with a nicely textured filling. Our mains were the Balti lamb, chicken Korma and Makhani Dahl. The Balti lamb was delicious, with generous flavours of fruit and spices, the korma creamy and sweet and the Dahl spot on.

Delicious menu, very good service, quick and prompt. The food was served to perfection. Loved all three mains that we chose. Planning on eating again here soon.

What a fantastic meal! First time trying this cuisine and it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the lamb balti and the momos with a side of mango lassi!

Tasty monos. Service is a bit slow. Vegetarian dishes can be flavoursome Although plain nan was nice and flaky, garlic nan was dificient in garlic or flavour.
