Bay Bay's on Scarborough

Went to Bay Bays for lunch with my brother and his partner on holiday from UK. They loved the food and service and will come back to Bay Bays

It was an okay experience. The food came out fairly quickly but 3/4 meals weren’t hot. The temp made it seem like they’d been heated in a microwave as it was warm in some spots, cold in other spots. Pricing for the meals seemed a bit high for what was served. Service was nice enough. No one checked in or asked how the meals were at any point. The theme of the restaurant seems all over the place. The setting of the booths inside made it feel quite closed off and hard to get in and out of. Overall, not a bad experience but not the best. Lots of areas to improve.

Food was either burnt, cold or tasteless For a booking of 12 you’d expect better service and the toilets were absolutely disgusting Will not be ever returning

Only one person on. ordered the seafood platter $75 and the general platter $55. There wasn't much difference between the two. Just a very few pieces of smoked salmon, fish and a couple of prawns plus heaps of breads. Extremely disappointing for the cost. This used to be my favorite restaurant BUT I will never return again.

I took my dog so we sat outdoors. There are water bowls which is great. Dog friendly. Food was yummy.

Had a reservation but there was plenty of tables so it didn’t matter

There were 14 of us in the group family and friends. As I was visiting Scarborough from QLD I was looking for a quieter place to communicate, a menu with choices for everyone quick service and good food you did not disappoint. Great place will return again very friendly staff too.

Personally, the food was disappointing for the price we paid. Also, one of our dishes came with a missing item. One good thing about this place is the location as it is right next to the beach.

Booked a table for 7 pm but only inside seating was available when we arrived. A table was found for us outside after about 20 minutes I ordered a medium cooked wagyu 300g Kerrigan Valley rib eye, it was crisp well cooked on the outside but really uncooked in the middle my impression was that this piece of meat was taken out of a freezer slapped onto a hot grill for a few minutes each side, the centre was still cold when I was eating it.

Groupon voucher was great value and Bay Bays has a nice atmosphere

Thoroughly enjoyed our smoked salmon pizza - best we have had for ages. Lovely quick service. Will be back.
