Fantastic staff, vibe and great food. Can't thank the staff more for looking after our large group for MG 2 year running.

One of the best in Sydney I am coming back

The dark interior and limited lighting made it quite difficult to see the meal & enjoy the food. It felt the restaurant was more of a nightclub than a dining destination. Upstairs may be different, but I feel the feel of the bar downstairs could have been better communicated via their website so you knew more what you were getting.

Great place. Food & drinks are fantastic. Have been several time ls and will continue to go back.

I hope the portion sizes are bigger next time and it’s rlly loud on the top floor for a restaurant

Third time eating at Big Poppa’s and it never disappoints!

The only thing I can make a comment on is the seating arrangements. We were 4 people placed on quite a small table that seated 4, HOWEVER the table couldn’t fit all of our food on it and we were very closely next to each other. Not a great deal of space for 4 people when you want to enjoy your meal in comfort.

Great food and service was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the acoustics in the restaurant makes conversation very hard. It was a struggle to hear my dining companion or the waitstaff without shouting.

Overall is a great experience, however, we ordered a clam dish wasn't fresh, we had to let the waitress take it away. I will still come back for pasta and wine! they all amazing!

Service was pretty non existent, the waiter was more interested in twerking at the table for his colleagues than to check if our table wanted any more drinks / desert, the waiter was likewise more Preoccupied with serving a table of 3 guys who had no booking but must have been known to the owner, and two, made sure that table received expediated service at the expense of tables that were sat before this group and basically left to wait longer than average between dishes... to management teach your wait staff to learn priorities

Was a great spot for a date, not the restaurants fault but got a bit noisy upstairs due to people next to us. The vibe down stairs was perfect though

Everything was very good. A friend suggested the pappardelle could have been a little bit more al denté.

Amazing food as always, great atmosphere although my dish arrived 20 mins before my partners, the staff apologised when the issue was brought up and gave us two complimentary drinks and a dessert. Was very happy with everything despite the wait ☺️
