Amazing staff and food. Our waitress was attentive without hovering and the gentleman who took our payment over the bar was lovely and gave a great recommendation for a bar to continue our evening. Next time I'm in Fitzroy I'll be back!

Only the pizzas were ok. We had the calamari which was chewy, not a pleasure to eat. Also had the arancini and they were terrible. They fell apart and looked like they were just rice fried into a ball barely holding together. Such a shame considering other than the food everything else was good.

Bontempo accommodated nearly 20 of us for a dinner and drinks and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and food. The team was friendly, really flexible with requests and always smiling even with the number of requests. The food was fresh and high quality and the price was ridiculously good. Cannot believe in Melbourne and in December and the restaurant was this reasonable . HIGHLY recommend and will be back!

Ordered the $25 per person pizza package for 14 people. Definitely worth the money! Received so much pizza and discounts on drinks. Will be back

What a wonderful venue! The staff couldn’t be nicer- the food was great and the atmosphere was bustling! We had a minor issue with one dish; the staff quickly offered to change it to something else and were so great about it. Old school hospitality attitude and everyone was having a fantastic time! A huge well done to the staff and management- you’re doing an awesome job and we’ll definitely be back!!!

one of the pizzas was nearly cold while the other was acceptable. however, both pizzas were well structured with a thin base and very tasty toppings. maybe a few sound absorption boards would lessen the noise within the large room?
