Some like it hot, and at BoThai on Willoughby Road, you can spice things up with a fiery curry, keep it cool with a Thai milk tea, or walk the middle path with one of the restaurant’s amazing stir-fries. Featuring a state-of-the-art open kitchen letting you see and smell your selection being prepared, BoThai’s environment is both casual and creative, a welcome change some of the more ordinary Thai restaurants around the Sydney area. The lunch menu at this Willoughby restaurant offers several fantastic choices like the classic stir-fried noodles, the Hainan chicken rice, the larb chicken, the seafood laksa and the tom kha chicken with rice. Known to get especially busy during weekends and at dinner time, BoThai is best enjoyed after reserving a table in advance.
Food is great but we had to wait between dishes being served. Our curry arrived and we waited 10 minutes for our rice. It was a busy night and we’ve been a few times - this was the first time we kept waiting in between dishes. The curry was all gone before the roti arrived... good affordable food on the whole.
Such beautifully fresh food. Great choices and lovely atmosphere! Staff are very friendly. Don’t miss this little gem. Don’t forget to book or you’ll miss out. BYO as well
