Cafe Nocello

A party of nine dined last night and were greatly disappointed with the food. Teo ordered dishes off the Menus simple Italian dishes eg lasagna chillie muscle were not available pasta was a claggy mess If you are An Italian restaurant get it right its not hard. What happened to the restaurant we used to enjoy.

Food was excellent. We had a mix of food. Italian and seafood. All were delicious and well cooked. Cafe was a tad cold, it was a cold night! Service was ok.

Service was a bit slow and it took a long time to get our meals. One meal didn’t come out till 15 min after the others. This meant the others were cold when we all started. The servings of gnocchi and ravioli were tiny, but yummy. I sadly had a hair in my salmon and the veggies weren’t cooked enough. There was another hair found on the edge of a salmon plate, but it wasn’t imbedded through the mash like mine was. So it was eaten. I would go back, I feel it was a bad night for the staff. I’ve heard good things and would like to try again.

The music was far too loud Bill splitting should be allowed, it is not fair to expect one person to pay the bill.

Cold night and the front door was wedged open and it was very cold. No appearance of heating from the aircon. One wait staff battled to cope, needed more floor staff. Food was excellent as always. Great restaurant.

We enjoyed the food apart from the spaghetti bol was a too sweet and not asavoury dish at all .

It was quiet on a Saturday night which is a shame. Food has always been good, but they aren't getting the trade for some reason.

Food was delicious as always. We had to wait a long time before our order was taken, but it was fairly quick to come out. Would recommend as a good restaurant for a tasty Italian meal.

Had to ask after 40 mins for water and menus Then another 10 minutes to get drinks and take order. Meal came at 8.30pm 1.5 hrs since we sat down. Mains didn't come out together.

Please bring back the old menu! I would rather pay a bit more and get a great meal than pay less for mediocre. Luckily we sat outside but there was an aweful sewage smell inside.

My wife and I were told this restaurant was excellent. We discovered an unorganised restaurant. The server was not trained and unsure as to his duties. He just wondered around not sure as to what to do next. The food was satisfactory, though my wife’s main meal arrived first and my main meal arrived around 10 minutes later. Very noisy atmosphere and could not hear my wife’s conversation. Not the best experience, I must say. Would we go back there? Possibly not. However, we both have a set idea as to what we like and don’t like as to restaurants and service. This was not to our liking at all. This restaurant may suite a different type of customer. The service was long and the food size was small but it was tasty

The food was slightly overpriced. The table service was semi good, the young waiter was not engaging much and seemed distracted. Wish the food for two of us was served at the same time and not 15 min apart when one person had a dish on the table and the other person had to wait.

We obviously got the new person as had to repeat several times the item we were ordering. It was very loud and very difficult to hold a conversation, not a place to take the elderly hard at hearing. Food was very tasty
