Cafe Nowa

Cafe Nowa in Petersham is a Nepalese vegan restaurant run by a passionate guy called Kabir. Kabir uses the finest, freshest ingredients around to make sure that Cafe Nowa always serves vegan food that is as delicious as it is healthy and mindful. But Cafe Nowa isn’t a place that’s fanatical about veganism in a way that should discourage non-vegans from enjoying its menu, as Kabir simply wants to provide great tasting, healthy vegan food with the hope of maybe inspiring one or two people to think about how great a vegan diet can be. The Cafe Nowa menu features everything from Nepalese-style curries to burgers, skewers, momo dumplings and even some indulgent fajitas, but our favourite dish would have to be the chickpea and tofu curry served with some homemade tortilla. You’ll find Cafe Nowa on Crystal Street where locals in the this part of Sydney can’t get enough. If you didn’t have a reason to head to Petersham, you absolutely do now!
