Love Cardi Pub, great night out! Well worth a visit

Wife and I are regular patrons to this establishment and missed it greatly last year when in lockdown. My wife loves the seafood linguine and it is her 'go to" meal now. I usually alternate between the parma and a Steak, on this occassion the Porterhouse, medium cooked with mushroom sauce as usual beautifully done. Love the staff, service is great, nice atmosphere and generally get our favourite table. Rather have a great pub meal anyday than any fancy restaurant take on food. Will be back no doubt later in week or soon thereafter.

Friendly staff throughout and pleasant surroundings and very tasty food.

Great service. We had one person in a wheelchair in our party and the staff went out of their way to make them comfortable.

Just out of lockdown.we felt for the owners & wanted to support people in our local community.every one was positive & great food.

Food always great here but the food was not as hot as it should have been.

The meals were good, Jarrod our waiter was excellent. The kitchen was very slow. Our order placed at 1:17pm didn't get to us till 2pm - Gordon Ramsay would have raged on with a few expletives to the Chefs. But Kerrie as always came to the rescue and after her intervention the meals were brought shortly after my appeal to her. My past experiences at the hotel has been always excellent and meals served quickly .

The food service was unacceptable. We were seated at a table with no cutlery. Although some was promised it never arrived so we were forced to get them from another table. We waited an hour before receiving our meal although other patrons who arrived after us were finished their meals before ours arrived. Ours arrived only after we queried it with the waitress. The food itself was excellent and the drinks service was very good.

I had the Gnocchi special with mushroom and blue cheese sauce, plus chicken. The gnocchi was rubbery, there was NO hint of blue cheese at all, but there was a gluggy grilled cheese sitting on top of the gnocchi which should only belong on a chicken parma or grilled cheese on toast. The mushrooms were a plenty which I enjoyed, and the chicken was tasty. but the rest was very disappointing. My daughter had the kids calamari which was a generous portion and tasted very nice. My mum had the quinoa salad, very nice, and dad had Veal Schnitzel. Both were quite nice. With that said, i would definitely go back as I loved the pub itself. But I would order something else.

Great place, service and food. Too many people, so very noisy. Long wait in a queue to pay at the end of the evening wasn't a nice experience.
