Disappointing visit. It has changed hands since our last visit and clearly shows from the moment you walk in. Authentic Italian food is now just italian food without the flavour or presentation. Service staff were great but the food for us was a big miss.

I struggle to hear in restaurants with hard surfaces everywhere. Ive been going to Catalanos since before they took over the unit next door. -Acoustics were better then. I realise soft furnishings don't clean as well as hard.

Staff were friendly. The $18.90 lunch specials were amazing value. I had the spaghetti with chilli and mussells. The others I was with really enjoyed the dishes they ordered from the menu too. Not very many in there for a Friday lunch time but that'll change with all of the work Christmas lunches coming up. Good old-fashioned Italian restaurant food.

Absolutely delicious traditional Italian food, and the portions were very generous!

Ok firstly had to get out of my seat and tell the staff behind the bar we were ready to order as we had waited a while for our orders to he taken. When we ordered I was given the wrong drink. When I did recieve the Amalfi drink I couldn’t taste the Lemoncello in the drink could mostly taste only soda. While the scallops, squid and mussels were well cooked, the prawns, bugs and both the grilled and battered fish were all overcooked and therefore dry. Overall disappointing

Disappointed with the food,not the same as previous & had to ask for the air conditioner to be turned on.. All at our table was quiet hot

Service was good, food was tasty and came out to the table quite quickly. Lots of flavour… disappointed that they wanted to charge $8 corkage for a 300ml bottle of champagne that we brought with us to a BYO restaurant.

The breakfast food menu was good enough and the coffee was good.

I had the most amazing birthday dinner on a Sunday night there. I loved being able to make the reservation immediately and update the numbers myself. Catalano's food is great and great value. Also on Sundays kids under 12 eat for free. They're very generous portions too. The restaurant was busy and looked understaffed. But we had the most amazing server who made jokes and was so lovely wiht the kids even though she was so clearly busy. The food came out quick once we were able to order and very good experience overall

It was pretty busy I saw they were many spot empty where it was more quiet to be seated. I had a special request to sit in a quiet area as it was a very special occasion but I didn't have that other than that food came out pretty quickly and I was happy with it

Food was exceptional, I had spaghetti Bol, 2 others had rib eye, and 1 had chicken scolapini all very enjoyable.

We had one meal served about 20-30minutes before the other 3 which was disappointing but loved that the wait staff were so apologetic & offered us free coffees , great customer service! Food was fantastic , will definitely go back.

Food was good, really enjoyable and the staff were great. Need to change the specials up🤷‍♂️ One negative comment: the glasses got water on the table looked like they needed to be put through the dishwasher again😩

To be honest was disappointed with the service tonight I have been to Catalanos before and had no problems the food was beautiful but tonight i was shown to the wrong table to start of with we then ordered no worries we then ordered 3 cocktails 30 mins later I had to ask where they were. We ordered a coke same thing we had to ask where it was. I was quite disappointed as we ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday to come which it did but I and two others at our table had got up to go the toilets so we missed it. We had to go up to the counter to order desserts. It’s the third time I’ve been here and tonight was the worst service unfortunately.

Had a great time. Bit noisy due to the larger groups but we were seated away from them so that was good.

Well priced decent meals but terrible service. We had to asked for everything, our table was not approached by any waitstaff whatsoever.

Booked 30 minutes before arriving, they were busy and still handled bookings and walk ins with great service

Top quality Italian restaurant food was delicious as always. The staff did an incredible job it was very busy for Father’s Day but they were all on to it.

We had an amazing seafood plater and rib eyes for dinner. Quick and great service too. Never fail to have a satisfactory visit everytime we go there for our family night. Happy tummy.

I ordered fish of the day (Red Emperor) over cooked and at $45 was very expensive. We asked for a 10-minute wait after finishing starter maybe the fish was already cooked, felt they were rushing us through the meal.
