Great food and lovely atmosphere. It is bye and not licensed which you should be aware of but a good opportunity to use that bottle at the back of the shelf.

Excellent as always, highly recommend this restaurant. Make sure you book as it's always busy! Snails and the beef Wellington are my suggestion but everything is delicious.

I heard amazing things about this place and gave my dad and his gF a gift voucher for Christmas. He raved about it so I tried it out and it is a perfect little Taste of France! The service was attentive, friendly and French. The food was mouth watering and the ambience was ideal . BYO is always a winner too. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back again.

Great dining experience. Same menu for over 30 years but food is delicious. B Y O is a big plus.. bring out the French reds...maybe big red glasses would be good.

Menu reads well and enjoyed the food. Busy night with only one waitress so service was slow. Had the beef (a bit dry but great bernaise sauce) and mousse which was great.

Classic food cooked at its best, a lot of restaurants in manly could take leaf out of their book. Service was a bit aloof but no issue.

Great food, great service. Just two of us for an anniversary dinner. Had the Snails, Beef Wellington and the Crème Brule. Everything was done to perfection. Will go back with friends as soon as possible.

Maurice offers great food. It is very authentic French. The menu has all the classics on it, although everybody seems to order the outstanding Chateaubriand.

All enjoyed their experience at Maurice's. The food and service were very good Three of the steaks were a little rare and had to get extra cooking which was the only issue

Another excellent meal here. Menu is very more-ish and my wife and I will return soon. Quality French cuisine in a small but comfy environment at a very reasonable price. Psst! Keep it a secret!

We had a wonderful time. The waiter greeted us by name and our food was delivered very quickly and efficiently. The waiter was very helpful and joked with my son, which made his night. The food is just amazing. Very tasty French food. I recommend the lamb brains for starter, they are really yummy. The serving sizes are generous for the price of this 3 course meal. I recommend booking early. We arrived at 6.15 and this is the perfect time if you get hangry.

It was almost full by the time we arrived just after 7pm. Many locals and repeat customers. It was a little warm and noisy and would be ideal on a winters night.

Not many really good French restaurants around, this one is amazing, I can't resist the French onion soup, the duck is really something special and the crepes, well, words alone can't do justice to this treat. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.j

Sensible menu with good variety. We had a group of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meals, without anything being a standout. Pricing reflects that, so a good evening with decent service. Being a BYO keeps the price down too

Classical French dishes, beautifully cooked. The difficulty was to choose what to order as there were so many tantalising options. Service was excellent. The restaurant has a nice buzz and pleasing ambiance. The bill was reasonable.

Have wanted to visit Chez Maurice and Linda for a long time and wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and the waiter entertaining. Amongst us we had the snails, oysters, scallops and veal kidney as entree followed by lamb rack, beef Wellington, and various steak dishes. Everybody cleared their plates and only a few had room for dessert. I can't wait to visit again and continue working my way through the menu.

Great value for money. The menu is limited but good food. Service was slow to begin with (they were very busy) but they were attentive after taking our order.
