Amazing view from the restaurant. The food was reasonably priced, looked amazing and tasted delicious!

The overall experience is very enjoyable and always a memorable occasion.

Dinner was great and service excellent. Only minor negative was our booking request for a window seat was ignored and we were initially taken to an internal table until we pointed to a window seat that was free and reminded them of our request.

Vegetarian main was poor. All foodwasn’t up to previous experience

We have been to Chris’s restaurant many times and it keeps getting worse, this would have to be out last visit there. The entree’s were good, the service was terrible the waiters were spilling the drinks on the table as they were serving us i the amount of money your paying you’d expect better service. The main food which we ordered was raw and overly priced I’m ordering lamb at a Greek restaurant NO lamb I served like that at any other Greek restaurant the meat was raw you could see the blood on the plate, the meat was tough very disappointing. Greek food needs to be cooked by Greek chefs/cooks it can’t be taught.

The location is absolutely unbeatable and what a view! The food was overall well prepared and tasty, but unfortunately the service was a weak point for this restaurant. We had a few hiccups with the wine service and then the food. Not much of attention for customers but from one staff member, which, in fact, saved the day! He was nice, engaging and apologized for the mistakes.

Great food and view. I was disappointed that unlike my many other visits, this time it was twice forgotten that I am celiac. After being told a dessert was gluten free, and double checking, I found that it wasn't. This is despite mentioning the allergy when booking online and again at the start of the meal. In the past, during my many visits, this has not been an issue.

We hadn't dined at Chris's restaurant for a number of yrs and thought we'd give it another go. Our food experience last time was disappointing. Last night the food was amazing and the staff attentive. Thanks ! We will be back if you don't change Chef's. Compliments to the chef - devine food ( just ate far too much !)

A spectacular view of the ocean at Skene’s Creek along Great Ocean Road situated high on a mountainside. The service was outstanding and food very good. A nice wine selection was also available. A definite stop when in Apollo Bay!

Lovely location with great views. Food was delicious. Not much vegetarian to choose, only 1 dish, and they weren't really able to offer anything else. They did replace one item as my husband was allergic to something but he doesn't like polenta and they didn't offer him an alternative. But I enjoyed my fish of the day and the dessert was great! Each time we come to this area we go to Chris'.

I can't complain, the atmosphere and look of the restaurant is just spectacular, pictures won't give its magnificent views true justice, it's truly breathtaking. The food, while some was great and some was "ok". I had the garlic shrimp and each shrimp was absolutely amazing, fresh, delicious and I enjoyed every bite. The 300g of steak was "ok", as it didn't look to be 300g worth, was bloody (we asked for no blood)... But I understand, most if not all chefs do not like to "over" cook their steak, however, we did kindly ask for it not be bloody... however, it was still enjoyed when they brought it back after searing/cooking it some more for us. Overall, I highly recommend the place, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the views are second to NONE, the food, depending on what you get, is great... and the prices are very reasonable.

We asked for separating the sauce from the pasta the guy said no problem and still come with mixed . We asked the salad to serve fist and it didn’t come until later. The waiter asked us what’s our orders individually and when the dishes come to the table still served to the wrong person . Food was ok but over the the price . The view is amazing

It was a really good night. The waiters made the restaurant with their friendly assistance and attention to detail. The food overall was pretty good. The bread rolls were a little dry However the cured king fish was amazing . The Fish of the day was nice and cooked well. The Greek orange custard, dessert was nice but I think all the items on the plate didn’t go well together.

This would have to be the best dining experience I have had. The view from the restaurant was sensational and we were made feel special from the moment we arrived. The food, wine and service was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant for that special occasion

Food was good (expensive though), but service very disappointing. Specified a special birthday in the booking - but when we arrived, they didn’t ask or know about our booking and gave us a table by the kitchen / toilet area. It was also really cold there, had to wear my jacket during dinnner. 10 minutes after we ordered, we were informed the specials we had ordered were finished and had to chose something else. Long waits might indicate staff deficits

Taking no notice of special comments made during online booking demonstrated lack of personal touch. The lamb kleftiko was only lukewarm. The views were great. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Not being offered our preferred table , which was vacant, did not start the evening well.

I love this restaurant. Everyone raves about the views, and rightly so, but I also rave about the food and the whole experience. To start with the food, the menu is not huge, but it's wide enough, and there's always something appealing. And best of all, it's always beautifully cooked. There's lots of seafood, and seafood is difficult to cook exactly right, but I have never been disappointed at Chris's. I had their seared trout fillet tonight, and it was absolutely perfect. Likewise, the drink list is not enormous, but very carefully chosen and every one is a winner. I love a good martini, and they do it just right. Then there's the atmosphere. Pleasant, comfortable, welcoming, peaceful. What more could you want?
