Service was great with a perfect level of attention. Our meals were delicious and the desserts a highlight. And the evening view of Apollo Bay makes it a night to remember.

Food and service as good as you could wish for. Also an excellent wine list. Reasonably priced.

The food and atmosphere was lovely. It arrived promptly and was the right temperature. Overall service was excellent until later in the evening we were not asked if we wanted dessert and the staff were clearing and resetting tables. Which is fine but we were completely ignored by the staff and this felt like a large hint that it was time to go, despite the fact that there was still a table of other guests in the restaurant. It was difficult to catch anyone’s eye so we decided to leave. It was just as strange end to what was overall, a lovely evening

Absolutely amazing, we were recommended by a friend to Chris’s Beacon Point Restaurant. On arrival the view and restaurant was simply amazing - definitely a candidate for a long lunch (but only to stay at onsite accommodation thereafter 😉. Personalised service with a great menu and carefully curated wine by the glass (for those who need to drive thereafter). I’d put the wow factor on a par with Sky Bistro at Banff. Will definitely recommend to friends (and a must return).

It was ok. Was it up to the standards it holds itself to, no I wouldn’t say so. Nice meals but not something you would rave to friends about as a must go spot in the area. It would need to step up to be considered as a “fine” dining experience. Wait staff were lovely, but sloppy and food was nice, but wouldn’t put it far above a good cafe.

My 99 yr old father and I enjoyed a special evening at Chris's Restaurant. I had called ahead as had special dietary needs and the Manager was so kind and accommodating. Such wonderful service, everyone was so lovely to us. Holding the door open for us upon arrival, seating us in a thoughtful position, friendly conversation. Dad loved his divine specials dish of garlic prawns in a delicious sauce and I eyed with envy the meals at the next table. Locally caught Blue eye Tuna and an amazing looking eye fillet. The view … oh that view…. We will be back!! Thankyou to all for making our night special

My husband and I loved our visit! We were seated near the window and had a fabulous view. Good food and service! A must do when visiting the Great Ocean Road.

An outstanding situation with fine views of the coast. It is a bit of a mission getting there - 12 minute drive from Apollo Bay. The service was excellent as was the food - but we were served stale buns at the start and they completely forgot our salad. This was a minor issue - we would go back.

Atmosphere, service and views were all very, very good. Food was very good, though the lamb was not as successful as the prawns and fish (touch too tough). Assistance with choosing wines to pair with the meal was top notch.

Stunning food and ambience with a spectacular view of the ocean. I have been coming to Chris' Beacon Point for over 10 years, and it never disappoints. I had a slow cooked lamb wrapped in file, delicious. My husband had the lamb rump, and both loved it. Desserts are to die for too.

We had a lovely evening and ate exceptional quality food.

Had a wonderful night. Delicious food, attentive, friendly service, with stunning views. Am grateful for the concern shown to me when I accidentally tripped over the step next to our table when we were about to leave the restaurant and landed heavily across on the table opposite. Many thanks to all the staff who rushed to help and check that I was ok. Just a small suggestion that the bottom step should be angled, rather than straight and that there should be a hand rail on the stairs to make them more obvious. It is a bit tricky to negotiate this from the table next to the stairs, especially when you have some mobility issues. Otherwise we had a great time again.
