Good food and service - perfect location across Regal theatre as we had a program to attend there

We were shown to a table and then waited 20 minutes before having to call for wait staff attention. So then we placed our wine and food order and waited another 20 minutes before the starter arrived. Still no wine. Almost finished the starter before wine was served. After that one main meal was served more than five minutes before the second! Shame about the service, the food was reasonably good.

Several items on the menu that we wanted were not available. The curry sauces were not complex, just “top notes”. The meat and fish had not been cooked in the sauces. All very disappointing for a once great restaurant.

Chutney Mary’s has long been a reliably good Indian eatery, and it still is. Service is always friendly, and the room is not cacophonous.

It was a family dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Utterly ridiculous wait to order and to receive any food. We were there an hour before even received pappadums. Won’t go back! Just about walked out.

5 of us dined at Chutney Mary's on Saturday Evening. We all had a different dish and couldn't fault any of them The rice was fluffy. The naan, tasty, crunchy edges, soft in the middle, Perfect! Butter Chicken, saucy, the chicken was so tender as was the lamb. Really lovely staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Will definitely be back

Had a large group of ladies going to a show gave them our order early and they delivered with plenty of time. Thank you so much for your patience, dealing with us girls.. excellent food

the staff were so lovely and the food was delicious. we arrived with one extra person to our booking and they went to great lengths to accomodate us. we were grateful for that. the food was also very delicious and as a vegetarian there was plenty of choice. we will need to revisit this restaurant so that we can sample all the other dishes :)

We waited around 20 minutes for our order to be taken and waited close to one hour for the food to come out. I explained we were seeing a show at the Regal theatre at 7:30pm and may have to cancel if the food doesn't come out any time soon. They ended up bringing the food out at 7:20pm, I had to pack it into takeaway containers and leave or we would miss the show. We were starving as couldn't eat it until we after the show! My tip: do not book Chutney Marys before a show! Food is delicious but the service is too slow and disorganised.

Easy to book online and get confirmation which is great…no fiddling around with phone calls. The food was super nice and the speed of service was great. Very much recommend this restaurant and the overall dining experience.

Always have a great time and feed. Go home full and happy.

The flavour of the dishes was really lovely but the portions of meat and prawns were tiny and the goat and lamb curry’s had chewy meat. Overall not good value for what you get

Obviously under staffed. Took an hour to get a meal. 15 min before anyone.came to the table after a request. Food was lovely Service under par.

It has been awhile between visits, but we were not disappointed. Those amazing flavours and aromas. Awesome quality food, and great service by the staff. Saag paneer is a standout for me.

Although they were short staffed, they did an amazing job. The restaurant was super busy and the wait staff were run off their feet. I can’t commend them enough. They were all so very polite too. To top all that off, the food was outstanding. Thanks, we’ll keep going back 😊

The staff were lovely, polite and welcoming. We chose a range of dishes to share between the 3 of us and they were all delicious. Food arrived promptly.

We particularly liked the samosas, which I found the best I've ever eaten, and the butter chicken, a favourite dish, which was outstanding/
