Ciao Italia - Nedlands

We brought some friends from overseas. Place was buzzing with 3 birthdays on that night. Food was good size serve and quality. Will be back again.

Tiramisu is the best that I had tried. The other foods are delicious especially the squids spegetti. I love the foods so much. The portions are more than enough for an Asian.

Great food, very busy and staff managed to keep up with demand. Love the fact that this restaurant is byo. Tried the pizza for the first time and it was great although very doughy on the crust.

Better bring empty stomachs because the portions here are huge. Love this place

Spa and the team are always so welcoming and accommodating. Can’t get enough of their Tiramisu!!

Excellent food and service.Had the Bruschetta to start (one serve was plenty for two) and tried the Saltinbocco and Chicken ciao Italians, the latter was a stand out.

Excellent food accompanied with great service as always. We had a fabulous Sweet 16th birthday celebration for my daughter! Thank you, we’ll be back again for sure😊

The food is superb and delicious especially the chilli mussels. For their service, it is good and fast respond. The staff is friendly and willing to listen the customer.

Service is always good. Food good too, but like most Italian sauces, they tend to taste better overnight (we took some home). We had a little celebration for our daughter and the restaurant put on the happy birthday music when they brought out the cake, this made our 2 year old feel very special. :)

Big serves, fast service, average quality. Food not terrible, but not amazing either. A lot of better options for the money. Fairly cramped and noisy.

Fabulous food. Friendly and efficient service. Large portions so you could share very easily. Not licenced so bring your own if you want alcoholic drinks.

I was a little disappointed with Ciao this time. Although we were seated promptly (we had a reservation) we felt the food came almost too quickly Given how busy the restaurant was (both seated and UBER takeaways) , we were expecting a half hour wait at least for food. The pizza came withing 15 minutes and the risotto and pasta came soon after. The pizza margherita was not as sumptuous and full as the ones we have had before both at South Perth and at Nedlands. There was not enough cheese and sauce was a little bit lacking although the crust was great. It seemed to lack the aroma that one associates with Ciao Italia pizzas. The risotto was a bit gluggy and the alio oglio spaghetti was dry even though we tossed over the pasta several times to coat the pasta with the olive oil at the bottom of the plate. I suspect that there may have been some pre-boiled pasta or arborio rice used to keep up with demand. Given that the prices have gone up by at least 50% since we first started frequenting Ciao in South Perth when it first opened, standards unfortunately have not been maintained. I had a similar experience at the South Perth branch about a year ago when the chili mussels came in rather insipid sauce. I would like Ciao Italia to go on forever as they still are a force to be reckoned with as far as Italian trattorias go. They just need to tweak their performance a little bit to make sure standards and deliciousness are maintained. Ciao's needs to up its game across the board to match its higher prices now so that it will not lose

Good large portions of food. Casual and cosy interior and BYO. Tiramisu was fantastic. Definitely go on a day which allows reservation, place is often visited by tourists.

A busy but great place to eat. Food is delicious and the service was very quick and efficient. Booking on certain days is also very helpful

They were accommodating to our group even tho a few people didn't come and they were busy. The food was great and came out fast.

Love Ciao Italia Generous serves of the best Italian food...We keep going back and never regret each visit....Parking is available close by....Id say its our favourite restaurant for sure.

I love this restaurant because of tasty foods and friendly staffs. Especially the Carbonara is nailed. But it is always busy and you could struggle to get table.

Delicious foods. Calamari, black ink pasta, pizza, and tiramisu. All were great! Good service, we arrived 30minutes earlier, yet we were seated. Overall a great dinner!

Was my first time here and the food and service was amazing. A very busy little restaurant that had a constant stream of new people being seated as soon as a table would finish.

Good food, large portions, great ambience. I would recommend people to share the pastas as the portions are really big. The pizzas are great as well.

The staff were very friendly, nice and accommodating. My friend and I requested to sit outside and later when there were a group of people smoking outside, they arranged for us to get a table back inside. Their service is impeccable and the food is delicious!

They are very friendly and helpful. I especially like the chilli mussels. They were good size, not just the shells, the meat were juicy and of good size too!

Service staff were warm and friendly. They got really busy but never forgot when we asked for chili oil and chili flakes (which is great for spicy lovers btw). Portions very huge. I have a big appetite but got through about 2/3 of the way and had to take the rest back. Tried the tiramisu which was good too! Light and still could stuff some in after the main course.
