With all restrictions considered, Forest Lounge put on a lovely menu, all was prepared well, friendly service and a crackling fire added to the coziness of the ambience. All agreed we will be returning after such a positive experience.

This was my second visit to The Forest Lounge, and again I had a wonderful time! Our small group of four friends was seated in the small function room at the back so we had privacy which was great considering we’re not the quietest of ladies. The gas fireplace was turned on for more ambience. The food again was impressive! I loved my slow cooked pork belly and my chocolate fondant dessert. The wine and coffee were great also. Again my company and I were not rushed, and the waitresses could not help us enough. This place truly is a little gem in the hills!

My bestie and I went to this cosy looking restaurant for our much anticipated, belated birthday celebration. It was our first time at The Forest Lounge. I had previously been to this establishment when it was owned by different people and was called Copperfields. My bestie and I totally loved it! From the service, to the ambience, to the food and to the amenities, it was all excellent!!! We were not made to feel rushed at all, which a lot of eateries happen to do now during social distancing. It wasn’t loud in there either so we could talk comfortably. The food was really tasty and also of a very high quality. The staff were lovely. The establishment was very clean. The bathroom was clean. I even noticed that they have a small function room at the back. I’m heading back there very soon. It’s so good to finally find a restaurant of our city’s quality in the hills.

Food was delicious, the service was great. We’ll be back there.

Decor beautiful but our experience was not fine dining. It was more like a pub meal. I ordered the fish and it was straight out of the freezer into the fryer. Also the the Gypsy coleslaw was limp and not particularly fresh. The pulled pork entee however was yum. Unfortunately we won’t be returning
