Food was not special, waiter had a bit of attitude when we arrived. Later they just left us alone. Two years ago the same place was great

Food was not as good as normal this time. Steak was a basic coles type qaulity and rice salad very plain for Thai theme. Will be back to gove it another go as it normally is good

Cookie has a huge menu. It was tough to make choices because there are so many enticing options. Our server made some recommendations, and everything was quite delicious!

Service not as quick as it has been in the past. Friendly enough, but I don't think there were enough staff for a day when all the tables were groups of 6 or more.

My daughter and I had a wonderful meal and great cocktails! We couldn't even finish it! The service was great and very friendly staff! I can't wait to go back.

This really is a great place great food and service. The only issue we found was getting a table, we had to book late and when we arrived found there were plenty of single tables available over the other side, not sure why they would do this. But overall we had a fantastic night and the pricing is very reasonable for such great food.

Friendly service that was attentative and not over-bearing. Delicious food, with an extensive drink menu. Quirky and intriguing decor that makes the place different. Only downside is the noise level is loud.

The service was great & the food fantastic but the music was way to loud for us to be able to have a conversation between ourselves. The whole point of the evening was for a fair well for a college who is leaving but this was impossible due to the volume of the music.

Food was delicious, and table service excellent. However, our experience at the Bar was a different story. Every wine we selected from the wine list the abrasive bartender, Davey, said was "shit", and offered no reason or advice, except to say "nah, that's shit". I suspect because we chose the cheaper wine, and Davey was upselling, but we were amazed at just how rude the guy was. When we asked why Cookie had such bad wines on the list that the bartender did not want to serve them, he said because "some people don't care (that they are shit)" and pointed at us. Wow! I think it's Davey who doesn't care. About his employer. About the customers. About his job. For the price of the food and drinks, I expect a lot more class from the staff.

An amazing restaurant with great food, a good drinks menu and memorable interior. I live in WA and when I visit Melbourne I always make the effort to eat at Cookies.

I love Cookie,. I go a lot. But it can be noisy and busy. Yet usually the high quality of the service makes up for this. Not this time. They had 2 staff working a packed floor. We were in a back corner and we had to flag down someone by almost standing and shouting for everything, menus, water, ordering, the cheque. They were sorry about it, we could see they were doing their best, but the managers need to put on adequate staff for buy periods. Very disappointing. The food was great.

Very nice food, however se Vice was very slow to the point that we even decided not to have another cocktail or have dessert. The meal itself tho was very nice

Some of the best food available in Melbourne. Cookie has never failed to disappoint. Just make sure you have enough time to go through the menus. The Drinks menu consists of 3 LARGE books and the food menu alone is huge.

We were a party of 8 so ordered the lunch feed me menu for $45. They catered for vegetarians and gluten free people and everything was delicious and served quickly. Would definitely go back.

The restaurant was very busy, but the staff were very helpful and gave us good advice on what to order. The menu was quite extensive and covered a variety of tastes. The Food was fabulous. We were well looked after and I would definitely go back there.

The food was great and refreshing and the way they give you a bill in a little kids book. Only one small problem with the food is that in the pork fried eggs and celery salad is that the pork was mainly crackling skin and fat but apart from that it was great

Lovely food. Atmosphere was great. Sadly we had to request some water for the table. But the staff were lovely providing some great insight into the menu and wine.

Cookie has the most fantastic atmosphere and the best Thai food around. It is vibrant and busy but you feel relaxed. A great place to go out with friends or just with one other person. The staff are friendly and very efficient. Getting a drink at the bar can take awhile depending on how busy they are. A great night out!

Cookie never fails to deliver wonderful food and great service. Favourites there include the drunken noodles, taro dumplings, pork belly red curry and classic cocktails.

Amazing food and atmosphere. We had such a fun night with friends. I had the curry pork belly with green beans such beautiful flavours and the pork was cooked perfectly!!

We had a great dinner here at Cookie. The food was delicious and the staff were really attentive and suggested some meals for us as the menu is quite large. The music is quite loud so it can be a bit hard to hear conversation, but the atmosphere is fantastic. I highly recommend.

Food was good quality, had a nice heat to it, the restaurant is not afraid to use chilli! Would recommend, though don't expect a quiet dinner as the venue is a mix restaurant bar.

Food was nice but needed to be much warmer (temperature not chilli) . Main disappointment was not being given the bar menu as well as the main menu at the table. When looking on the internet, those were the type of dishes we were after. Don't understand why everything isn't on the main menu if it's available - confusing.

Great staff, even better food and the cocktails are to die for. Bit noisy and expensive otherwise, top knotch. But considering you're in the centre of Melbourne, prices pretty reasonable especially since you're getting a decent serve as opposed to the gob-on-a-plate you get at the more pretentious establishments around town. Thoroughly recommended. Cookie and comedy in Melbourne, nothing better.

Not a place for vegetarians! The veggie options were poor, settled for the roast veggie platter but was quite tasteless. The meat lovers I dined with were quite happy with their m als.

The waiter was a bit disappointing didn't offer many suggestions when it came to choosing our menu and cocktails. Was very uninterested which was disappointing.
