Good overall experience for a vegan place. Some dishes were not what we expected but worth a try for sure

A very cosy and intimate Italian restaurant located on the quieter end of King Street, amazing food and service was friendly. The zucchini fritti and carbonara were standouts and a must-try. Would definitely come back.

I understand that the restaurant would like to serve their food as authentic as possible but they should keep chilli oil/hot sauce available for any patrons who would like to add into their food. They should cater to all preferences as much as possible. The food was unfortunately too bland for my taste.

Lorenzo has created the most wonderful Italian Plant based experience. The food is authentic, really tasty and creative. The atmosphere is intimate, with a taste for humour and we always look forward to seeing Lorenzo with his friendly yet perceptive demeanour.

Such a lovely intimate atmosphere at don Fred. The menu had a homemade vibe, where everything is made on-site. The owner (assuming his name is Fred) was so friendly and chatted with all the patrons, he was passionate about plant-based food and loved sharing how he made all the yummy elements on the menu. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

We had a great time at Don Fred. The owner is very friendly and we were impressed with every dish that was served to us, we ordered the tasting menu which allowed us to try a little bit of most items on the menu. Highly recommend!
