Dosa Hut - Wantirna

Though service was good, food was ok ok. Not liked that much.

It was okay sometimes the food can be a hit or miss at this place.

very slow service and even if we've booked, we have been waited for at least 20 mins before getring a table

Very noisy environment on the night and while my Dosa was really quite good my wifes Birianni was too dry

We were hoping for Authentic South Indian food. It wasn't close to it. The food served wasn't not hot. The Chutney was not good in taste. Overall, it didn't meet our expectations.

Taste of the food was definitely very authentic and much better than most places in Melbourne. My disappointment is mainly due to the fact that our Chicken Brynani came right at the end (after I've asked where it was TWICE!), AFTER all my curry dishes have gone cold waiting and had to keep ordering extra serves of naan while waiting, and I was then told that we already had so much food on the table and the kitchen thought they could wait to serve this. Of course, all other tables have had their Brynani served even though we were the FIRST at the restaurant last night. If the kitchen made that decision on our behalf, they should have either ASKED whether that was ok with us or at least inform us they have made that choice on our behalf??? Naturally, we were too full from all the extra serves of naan in the end and had to takeaway the Brynani. Not a pleasant experience... which was a real shame as the food was actually good!

Quite a long delay in delivering our food. And the noise level was very high. The absence of absorbent material like curtains and carpet contributed to the noise level.

The food is pretty good and the portion is quite big. The environment is great and suitable for young kids
