Food was not that Gud . Curry was too sweet and snacks not good as well

I love Dum n Rum. There are so many indian restaurants but Dum n Rum is one of the best. Fabulous food and the staff are so very friendly. It's always a great time out.

Luckily the restaurant was quiet tonight, food didn't take long to come and was delicious as usual. Customer service was great once again, welcome with a smile.

Unfortunately our experience wasn't the best. We never got our complementary poppadom's as every other table seems to. The beer my husband ordered off the menu wasn't available. Our entree was lovely but unfortunately our mains were very disappointing. We ordered the Madras and Korma - medium. They had no spice in them at all and were very bland. We advised the waiter of this and all he could say was it was put into the system as medium. We have been once before and was very impressed. Unfortunately our latest experience has clouded this and we will not be returning again.

Dishes are not your usual ones that you'd find in a typicla Indian restaurant. While we tried a few dishes, the children stuck to plain dosa and butter naan as their safer option. They eventually tried one of the chicken dishes although it was mild leaning towards a bit of medium but not too much. I can handle upto medium spice level so it was alright for me. We'll be going back again to try their other dishes which you would not find in other Indian restaurants. Something different, something unique. Overall, food and service was very good.

1st time dining in and trying Dum n Rum, had a table for 4, the entrees were perfect best samosas ive had, and the prawn dish was very smooth creamy and delicious. In our group we had one selective eater (mother -in law) due to past health treatments changing her pallet and she loved the mango chicken and also had the prawn entree dish and soaked up all the left over sauce. She can be hard to find food she likes and was great seeing her enjoy every mouth full and licking spoons to get the last drop lol. The garlic Nan was great. My father in law had a goat dish and he likes his spices and enjoyed the medium spiced goat. We also had the chicken masala which was my favourite. My wife also liked the mango chicken. Our waiting staff were really friendly, big smiles and made the dining experience fun. Diya provided a quality dine in experience and service for our whole family.

I have visited the Dum n Rum restaurant in the Stafford area and still find it is the best after visiting the Ipswich branch. The fish wrapped with banana leaves was cold, and not the whole fish; it was part of a big fish with onion masala surrounded, not usually served like this. Drinks were served for the whole table in series not together, and delayed. Long waiting on food, if need extra then another long wait. Overall, amazing in taste need improvement on service and time!

I can't decide, I have to keep coming back and try more yummy meals!
