Extremely rude and arrogant staff, particularly the female manager and the person who identifies himself as the licensee.

The cigaret smoke from people smoking outside could be smelt inside, it was that strong that we could not wait to leave. We love eating at the restaurant but the smoke ruins it inside.

The food was great. The size of the main meal was huge! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Only downside was the noise. Being a pub, you don't expect it to be quiet but it was hard to have a conversation with everyone nearby yelling over the top of each other and kids screaming... not the pub's fault, but if you want a quiet dinner for two, this wouldn't be at the top of my list. Loved the food tho.

All new staff so no one knew you, When you are a regular old staff knew where you liked to sit and who you were, young girl at bistro (pinky hair) didn’t know how to read table numbers for bookings, also ignored you till she was ready to speak to you. Saw several orders mucked up for other customers.

1st time back since closing for covid-19 and felt quite safe dining in. Food was great and service was friendly. Well done!

Renovations are coming along nicely. Would prefer if the restaurant was a little brighter though. Lighting is too dim. Staff are brilliant. I've been drinking here for 16 years and the place has never been better. Well done!

My meal was ok but my husbands was awful. Bar service was terrible 2 staff tending bar to busy talking, not to concerned about service.

Service was great. Atmosphere was exceptional. Food was average at best. 5/10

No sticky date pudding, however the other puddings were brilliant.
