El Bulli

Loved the food, the music, the style of the restaurant and our waitress was awesome! Had to wait a bit because our waitress was busy with other tables but once the good got there, yummmm! That just shows how good they are, all their tables were packed

The food was amazing, the portions were huge and the staff were lovely and friendly! Will definitely be going back again. Thanks for a nice evening

Quick service, amazing food and cocktails and love the ambience and live Spanish music. Must try the gnocchi, hands down the best I have ever had!

was gifted a voucher for the 8 plates of tapas for $55. was looking forward to the array of food but quickly realised it was more of a gimic to get people into the door. Each dish was mediocre and normal fare, with nothing standing out. The service was prompt but rushed as they collected plates even before the food was finished. We were hurried out of there within an hour.

This is the third time I've been to this restaurant so it's definitely doing something right. The food is delicious and the stand outs for us were the two off Groupon deal dishes we ordered. The lamb was moist and juicy and the patatas fritas divine.

Good food and good service, vary nice music , good place for big and small groups, price are a little bit high but worth it

Lovely ambience and people but the order was slightly mucked up although still nice There were some crumbs in my water which really put me off There was a bug on the wall right in front of me just crawling around

Went on Groupon Deal at $55 per couple (4 people). Course 1-3 a few olives in VOO, small bowl of cold tomato soup and several slithers of sardines was hardly enough for 2 people let alone 4. The other dishes a little more substanual, wine is over priced and is a small and poor selection. the DEAL is not good value at all and I will warn friends not to buy. It was one of the worst value deals we have ever purchased!

Great food atmospher e & friendly staff. Good menu options. Typical spanish tucker & beer. We will visit again when in the area for sure

Wow last night was my first time at El Bulli and it was such a beautiful restaurant! I am completely impressed! The food had amazing favour with generous portions and the inside of the restaurant was Spanishly authentic in its decoré. Cannot wait to go back for more!

The food was good, though not plentiful, and considering our group were the only patrons, the hostess could have been a bit more proactive with drink orders.

Worst service ever! Ok food but very rude staff and didn't listen! Took 2 hours for our meals, went to cancel a serving of food and it was brought out 1 hour later and still charged us.

Food was simply bad and lacked seasoning. Portions were really small which was good in this case as we still left half of it on the plate... We hadnt been even offered water so our glasses stayed empty throughout the whole experience. Because we had a voucher we were huddled into a little corner of the restaurant where other people with vouchers were seated so it felt like a punishment for having one. I will never visit this restaurant again as for me it was a miss on all major points...

Great service, excellent food and the perfect atmosphere. Natalia was a great hostess, and the live music was an unexpected, but lovely, addition to the evening.

Service was ok, half of the dishes were over cooked some even dry and tasteless. Shame as I was looking forward to tapas and great food.

The food was absolutely amazing! The service from the staff was warm and friendly! Loved the entertainment! I couldn't fault anything there and will definitely be coming back again soon.

Great food and service! Chargrilled eye fillet was delicious. Music was a little loud to have a conversation however overall good atmosphere. Would definitely come back again

Great food. My wife and I had a great time. It is our favourite place in Surry Hills. Only one thing there was no bread.

Once again, this is a great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion or just have a good meal! Our wait staff were great, food was very good although not all of our meals arrived! Churros and lamb a must have!

Great food! Service was ok, could have been a little better. Asked for a jug of water on the table but they said no & poured very small glasses.

It's a very special valentine's day for me and my wife having lunch at El Bulli. As always, their Paella is big and fabulous! Will definitely go back there again!

Food was delicious. Service was a bit slower than last time we visited and the waiters attention was not as sharp this time around. We waited a lot.

The overall experience was marvelous. The ambiance, music, food and the waitress.....they have the right combination. I must suggest to try the red Sangria to everyone.

Our groupon voucher for two was used for this restaurant. Service was quick and the food was good. Although i do wish that the groupon voucher had included more food to share between the two...but you get what you pay for. The decor and atmosphere was very relaxing and cosy. Always good service. Always good food. Always great sangria. El Bulli provides atmosphere that cant be copied anywhere else. Id suggest the potato dishes. There are three to choose from.

We had a great experience, out of the ten people six was their first time I'm glad to say they had a great experience too. Beautiful ambience and the staff excelled in their work,the service was good.

Just excellent... The menu was good, food was delicious (my favourite was the clams), the staff was friendly and a great atmosphere. I would definitely return to try some more dishes!

Great atmosphere and music. The tapas and sangria we received in our banquet menu was divine. We will be coming back to El Bulli again soon.

Overall excellent, only negative points for music from band being way too loud for a restaurant, We had to shout across the table to be able to have a converstion, most the time unable to even converse with the person directly oppositte seated. The King Prawns in the Paella tasted extremely strong and very dry and chewy, as though they were quite old and had been defrosted. Same with the BBQ baby Octopus. (Both amongst my favourite all time dishes) All other meals were fantastic, quickly served, excellent table staff, very friendly, food was great, drinks were very well made, though a little on the high end price wise. Overall we had a fantastic time, with great service and excellent food, will be happilly returning soon. :)

Awesome food. Great vibe. Live music. Loud and lots of fun for a big group. Blue cheese gnocchi is the best thing I've ever eaten.

Excellent food, very friendly service. There was a rowdy table so the waitress mistook our order and we didn't get our paella. We ordered a four person serving but she brought over a one person serving. We were told that it would take very long to get the four person serving made (towards the end of our meal) so we had to order other food. Would recommend but double check your order.

Great food and great service, we had a group of 9 and seriously over ordered food wise! However it was very reasonable price per head! If also recommend for large bookings with their group menus

Atmosphere was lacking and the food was average...the service was very good though! Would consider going back on a busier night, when the entertainment was on and ordering single main dishes rather than the taster menu which was very disappointing!

It's my second time there and all of us enjoyed the food - the tapas are very yummy and tasty! Service and atmosphere were great.
