We have been dining here for many years, the service is always impeccable, food is always tasty and the atmosphere is cosy , great value for money .

Dined here many times but this evening average. My desert was strawberry cheesecske what a mess three plops of different cream on top of each other with one straw cut in half . What a joke ! Where’s the strawberry’ sauce. Apart from that they say us near the front door that’s not used as a door . The freezing wind from under the door was on our back. Very uncomfortable and cold. The waiters … maybe a smile u not saving someone’s life .

A little too noisy with music in the background and a lot of guests. Might be good to turn the volume a little on the music.

The mayura steak was definitely value for money especially having recently tried other steak for a higher price elsewhere. The seafood platter was also fresh.

The food overall was a bit underwhelming and I had better eye fillets cooked elsewhere with the same price. Both eye fillets were tough to eat and the side salad wasn’t interesting enough to be priced at $15 as I could probably make it better. It was quite boring and I would expect something more interesting than just mostly vinegar over vegetables. The seafood was underwhelming and for the price, it wasn’t worth it. I feel the place is over rated and I think because it’s on a good location and it’s dressed up nicely, they will always have people paying for the food regardless of taste.

It was a last minute booking for 8 for my husband’s birthday. It’s a local go to restaurant for all of us who are also neighbours. We love Escagrill & could not recommend it highly enough. The food is always amazing. Staff & service excellent & always accommodating.
