Firehouse Grill

My girlfriend and I just got back from a nice dinner at Firehouse Grill. Great steaks and generous serves. Nice friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. We'll be back.

amazing. New menu food didn’t disappoint tasty as always. If you like cheese baked Brie was so good. It was a busy night service great.

Great Service, Great Menu and amazing food, th e Mussels are crazy as are the steaks. Excellent value for money. Very flexible with the menu also. Highly recommend and have booked again for next week as I need more of those mussels in cream and chive sauce.. yummmmmo

Wonderful restaurant. Excellent food and well priced. Staff were attentive and food came out in good timing. The chef was excellent in catering for my sister who has special dietary requirements. This is now our new family restaurant.

Good food, served attractively; prompt service provided by friendly staff. Acoustics are problematic, which makes conversation very difficult at times. We intend to return in the near future.

Food and service were great. Went out with kids and grandparents. The seafood paella and steaks are excellent. Sunday is great as kids eat free.

A brilliant meal, just like every other time I come here. The Sirloin Rivere is one of the best steaks I've had. The food did take a while though, like most times.

I ordered a delicious steak and veggies. Really well cooked, beautifully presented, more than enough on the plate. The sauce on the side was delicious too. Lovely atmosphere, warm, staff were really friendly

Delicious food with great service. Steaks and Grilled Barra a must. Sticky Date Pudding certainty tops off the night. Sit inside or out for a great night.

The restaurant had beautiful food, with lots of variety, so hard to choose. It had good atmosphere which allowed us to have a great night.

We have been to the Firehouse Grill, many times - at least 10. We have never been disappointed. The food and service has always been excellent. Plus they have mid-week specials, like Mussel Night on Thursdays, which are also good. It has become our favourite "go to" place, whenever going out for Dinner, comes up.

A busy night well handled by floor staff & kitchen. Best $15 steak! Just don't forget to order your steamed veg to share, like we did but had the fab fig starter which made up for everything

This was our 4th Dinner at Fire House and again had a very nice meal - we took friends along this time and they also remarked how nice the meal was.

As always firehouse does not disappoint. Food and service fantastic. Staff very friendly and on the ball. During our meal was asked if everything was ok and if we needed anything.

Lovely halloumi starter to share and then a really nice big and perfectly cooked steak with beautifully creamy mushroom sauce. Great atmosphere too. Great steakhouse.

Great food, reasonable prices, very noisy, full restaurant (sign of good food), so difficult to talk and hear people at table. back of house very old, toilets clean but appear tired and 50 years old. Enjoyed would recommend

This is our “go to place”. Always fresh, always busy, great staff, delicious food. What more could you want! Loved the original pork belly but the new version is also nice.

Consistent food & service but a little noisy. Best steak restaurant in Mortdale. Recommend you book as it fills quickly. Value for money with great variety.

This place is awesome for a small suburban area. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff are amazing. Salmon is my favourite dish while the salt & pepper calamari & the crispy pork are my husbands. Good sized portions.

Weve been here as a part of a group several times and are always impressed by the food and service. Only drawback is that it gets a bit noisy when really busy with diners. soft furnishings on the wall might help

A buzzing little neighbourhood gem that serves great food and has friendly staff. Salmon is always cooked to perfection! Other meals are always consistent and have some great weekly specials.

Excellent meal, variety and service throughout evening. As the tables filled the noise level became very loud making conversation difficult at our table. Would return but during midweek when less crowded.

Everything was great. Except when we tried to pay the bill, we could not get anybody's attention! Other than that it couldn't have been better. Food great, service great. Just the 5 minutes waving our arms around and trying to get eye attention to pay was a tad frustrating.

Quaint and beautiful little restaurant. Food was outstanding ... the barramundi and scotch fillet were both lovely meals . A great selection of food to choose from. Cant wait to go back !!!

We've eaten at Firehouse Grill a number of times and have never been disappointed. When we've had Dinner there with friends, they've also become repeat customers. The Restaurant is not "swish" and not really romantic (they have another facility a couple of doors down, which does offer a bit more of a romantic atmosphere), but, as I've said we've always enjoyed the food. The Macadamia encrusted Barramundi and Paella especially, are great.

Great food and heaps of it. Can get noisy inside so sit outside if the weather permits. This is one of my favourite restaurants. Kids eat free on Sundays.....Little kids.

Great little neighbourhood find. Foods always been fresh. Staff are lovely. Salmon is the best so far for me. Hubby and I have been there 6 times in the last 6 weeks and taken family & friends who also love it.

Fantastic food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Steaks cooked to perfection with really creamy sauce. Really nice cheese garlic bread to start and a fantastic eaton mess with a chocolate ganache to finish.

Food was well prepared and tasty. There is a good variety to choose from and the daily special was excellent. Service was timely and great customer service meant we enjoyed our meal.

I dined with 2 friends and i had the prawn and mussel hot pot for entree, which was outstanding, and the Tuesday $15.00 steak special, which was delicious and cooked perfectly. My friends also commented to me at how good their meals were. The service from the waitresses was professional and warm. The meals came out well timed and we all ate our entrees and mains at the same time. The restaurant itself was very comfortable and not noisy even though it was nearly full. I have dined there before and always found the restaurant to be like this. I, as well as my friends will be back again, and looking forward to it.

Excellent food, service & value! I had the salt and pepper prawns, the lamb rack and the Baileys Brûlée and they were all delicious! BYO too!

Food was great, quiet night at the restaurant so food was out quickly. Seafood paella was spicy and mouth watering. Been before and will go again
