We experienced excellent food, reasonably priced wine, very good service and helpful staff - overall a great experience. We will definitely be returning to Galangal.

Very tasty Thai food, great service, will be coming back and will happily recommend to all my family and friends. Curry puffs were my favourite!!

The only downside was that the aircon made it to cold inside, Be sure to bring a sweater to keep you warm. Food was great!

Generally disappointing had been before a couple of years ago and was very impressed. This time found food and service pretty average. Shared 3 dishes with 3 people. The servings for the 2 curry dishes were very small and we really only had enough for a taste each. The red duck curry was good but meat in beef curry was tough and the dish was no particularly flavoursome (in fact I had the distinct impression it was reheated). It was hard to find the vegetables in the vegetable pad thai. The rice was definitely reheated.

Good food, good wine, good service, good ambience and good pricing. Keep it up! We will most definitely be back again for more. Well done.

I went to Galangal on a Sunday night and it was lovely and quiet. Service was prompt. Food was divine. Loved the green chicken curry 😍🙏

Very nice food little over priced tho very small portions but great for a special occasion massaman curry is lovely and green curry the duck and shrimp entree was fabulous

very nice place, dinner came very quickly. Child seat available and even called to confirm the type of child seat. Place can be highly recommended.

We booked online and were shown to our table in what ended up a very busy and popular restaurant. Seated in a nicely decorated room by attentive staff, dishes arrived promptly. Std spring rolls and stuffed won tons served nuclear hot, and Tom Kar Gai soup full of flavour. Our other dishes all were served after asking if they could start mains which is nice if you wish to take a little longer over your meal. Dishes are a little smaller than a regular Asian restaurant, but conversely they were more flavourful with the use of proper ingredients, veg, herbs and tender meat. Recommended and will go again.

I’ve been to galangal many times and loved it every time. On this occasion the food came out like warm and the duck that I raved to my friends about and got them to try had rubbery skin and tasted gamy. They were ridiculously busy and you could see it on the staffs faces. Uber eats were being pumped out all night.

We had a family dinner for my wife's birthday, and loved it. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly, great service, The food, fantastic, varied levels a heat and spice as ordered. Reasonably priced, great wine specials. Thanks for a very enjoyable evening. See you soon.

Excellent food and service as usual, the pork belly main and the prawn entree were both outstanding, the salad base on these were both amazing

My husband and I loved the dishes we had. Especially the twice cooked pork belly. Those flavours were amazing!! Can’t recommend this place enough for a great night out.

We eat here often because the staff and the food are brilliant. We always look forward to our evenings in such pleasant surroundings, whilst we devour the best Thai Food in Perth.

Great Spot with attentive service & food was packed full of flavors. Feedback I would give would be to have some Pale Ale beers options as all beers on the list are lagers

Beautiful and very tasty dishes in a tastefully decorated restaurant. Best Thai fish cakes ever, and duck curry is great as well. Actually, almost all dishes are good. The only dish we had here that was not that special in our opinion is the green chicken curry. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Perth!

Nice environment and foods are all good, one bowl jasmine rice cost $4 , just bit pricey, other than that, staff are friendly and foods are yummy

Their Thai food is delicious. My favorite is the soft shell crab with watermelon and asian herbs. I left my reading glasses on the table and the duty manager (23Feb) rang me to let me know. Excellent customer service.

Great flavours! Portions could be bigger and drinks were slow but overall was a lovely experience.

It's my fourth visit to Galangal Thai. The food and presentation was beautiful, the service was very good and your staff helpful. We used an entertainment book gold card which made it even better. I will be returning. Thank you.

I did enjoy the experience I would go back, but not rush to Young waiter needs a little more training, taking plates away before everyone is finished is a mistake The dishes were tasty but a little sweet to be honest, possibly for westerners taste ? Lovely waitress, helpful and efficient Nice buzz in the kitchen

Quality and taste was great. Portions on the small side for the price paid. Service was also great. It was a busy Saturday night so slightly noisy to carry out a conversation

Amazing service on Valentine’s Day even though they were flat out. Food was divine we will be back for sure. Could not fault a thing.

Food was good but service was very average. Very nice venue and nice area surrounding it just would prefer not to wait over an hour to get our meals..

Despite the menu saying all meals were of medium spice the two meals we had were so spicy they burnt the inside of our mouths and throats.

I gave them a 3 rating because this is the second time I've visited the establishment advising them that I have a nut allergy and both times dishes have come out with peanuts. They need to take customers with food allergies seriously, it's not a joke. Other then that they serve the tastiest food in town.

Great food, great service, love love the sticky rice mango and coconut and the red duck curry! Will def recommend this place to my friends and family.

Four ladies celebrating a birthday at Galangal, we all enjoyed our meals. There were quite a few people in the restaurant but the service was prompt with no waiting for meals or drinks. We are all looking forward to our next visit. Lyn

It was a great meal, very attentive staff but not overly so, friendly engaging and couldn’t do enough for you will go again definitely .

It’s a little on the pricey side but the food really is amazing

Fantastic Thai food! The red duck curry is superb and we loved the Massaman beef which was delicious and tender. Wish this great restaurant was a little quieter but it’s always full and be advised that you need to book.

The Chicken Pad Thai and the Vegetarian fried rice ordered were very tasty. The menu is quite limited compared to other Thai restaurant - particularly with entrees/salads.

The service was very good but food was only just average. I was a bit disappointed with one of the dishes, the tom yam soup which wasn't spicy and didn't taste authentic. it appeared to have been watered down. Have tasted better tom yam from other Thai restaurants.
