Really bad start to the dinner when Maitre D gave us the option of either by the toilet door or by the kitchen door in an otherwise empty restaurant. Food good.

Always enjoy my visit to Galangal. Ask for their specials, we had the fried whole fish and it was cooked to perfection. Great wine selection and staff to help recommend the most suitable wine to go with the dishes you order.

The food was very good, small servings but good quality. The tables are a bit close together which makes it very noisy at times. Service was ok.

3rd visit and still love it. Food excellent and quick. Wait staff gorgeous and knowledgeable. Atmosphere great even the kitchen staff are wonderful and friendly. I will be back a 4th time....soon

The food is divine, full of intense flavours and the menu has lots of variety to offer. The restaurant is beautifully presented and the staff are charming, smiling and attentive. Highly recommended.

Good local Thai restaurant, we had a nice red curry which was a bit spicy but not too much. Busy on a Thursday night and byo was good.

Nice restaurant, good atmosphere, quiet enough to have a conversation, great tasting food, $8 corkage and $8 'cake-age' (for birthday cake) is a bit steep after already spending hundreds of dollars for a group of 8 diners.

We had a lovely night . The food was amazing as usual , we have dined at galangal several times . Tonight the waitress suggested the fish dish which was on the speciall list for tonight . Well the fish was delicious . faultless ,enjoyed every mouthful , we will be back .

Not happy with the way we were greeted by front of house 'you shouldn't arrive early'!! We were prepared to wait somewhere else... anyway service was slow . Food was good except the Tom Yung soup looked like dishwater but tasted ok . Sweet and Sour prawns not good

Good food, good service, pricey, portion is somewhat small. We had pork belly, duck curry, mar hor and sticky rice mango desserts. All tasted very good. Duck curry was medium to hot spiciness.

The food here is usually amazing, making the expensive prices justifiable. Not so this time. Not sure if it has changed hands, but it just tasted like your run of the mill Thai, but at double the price.

Pork Belly, deep fried fish, roast duck, pad Thai, sticky rice dessert ALL superb.

Food very good , but once our order was taken, we did not see aa waiter or waitress till we got up to leave. We were not asked how the meal was or if we wanted anything else...a bit disappointing that there was no service

Everything was delicious but you must try the red duck curry! Service was good and the wines were reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely delicious flavours, impeccable presentation. Portions are a bit small, but service was excellent as well. Grateful that Galangal was in the Entertainment Book, which made it more affordable.

The food presentation of our three course meals was excellent as was the flavor, the night was capped off by the Courteous and Attentive Staff, Our entire party of Friends had a Fantastic Evening. We shall continue to return for the Best Thai Food in Perth

Great food but not enough GF entrees. The chef was able to convert a stir fry to GF. All the food was beautifully presented and tasted great. Service was a little slow but it was a very busy night. Service was better last time when we were only 2 people. Great great food.

Lovely decor and ambiance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The service was exceptional . The food while tasty was not authentic Thai food.

Great selection of Thai dishes, including red duck curry and pad thai. The sticky rice with mango was also really nice. However, we found the Thai iced tea to be too sweet. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Great service and great food. Very busy upmarket Resto so dress nicely! Nice touch to have the door opened for us on arriving and leaving. We had a table set apart from the main section which was good as it was a bit quieter there. No byo on Friday and Saturday nights which took the bill to $57 a head. Entertainment book gave us 25% off though. Would definitely go again.

Galangal staff were excellent last nite they were under the pump but did really well. Food was delicious, no complaints. We enjoyed four appetizers which were shared between four of us, Then ordered a Main meal each with rice Quite generous serves with a vegetable dish to share. Will be back soon.

Food was very tasty and presented very well, and service you couldn't fault at all. Will definitely be back and will be recommending Galangal to our friends.

Very nice dishes however small portioned mains... fish cakes rather like rubbery chicken. Overall the meal was enjoyable service prompt and accomodating staff The knives of cutlery were clumsy and even when placing on plate, tended to keep falling off and hence food staining clothing.

A beautiful meal with very attentive service. Restaurant was basically full which is always a good sign. Ambience one of the best. The food was very tasty and well presented.

We had a great meal in lovely surroundings. The place got really busy, and had a lovely, vibrant atmosphere. We would definitely go back, in future.

Food was lovely. Service was average and we were not offered dessert or tea and coffee. When it came to pay, they would not accept more than one credit card for a bill of over $200. They said it was because they are charged per transaction for the credit card fee, which is not true. As far as I know, companies and businesses are charged a fixed percentage on the total cost of transaction through their account. I hate it when restaurants make it difficult to pay when it doesn't actually cause them any difficulty or cost, and just makes life difficult for the customer!

The food was delicious and well presented. The decor was nice. Was quite noisy when the restaurant was full. There is much room for improvement with the service.

The food was full of flavour. I was worried it may be to hot /spicy but the dishes we choose were neither. Quick and friendly service.

Food and service was excellent as always however, I have found that the portions are getting smaller and smaller. In terms of value for money, it used to be better.

The food was good but pricey for what you received. The Massadum curry was quite small for the price. The wines we also very expensive.

Fantastic authentic Thai food, brought my Thai friends from Bangkok here and they loved as did we. Our favourite dish is the Red Duck curry!
