Food and Service was top shelf for a 730pm booking on a Saturday night when the restaurant was very busy as usual. Looking forward to dining their again.

Amazing Thai food, tasty and beautifully presented... a step above your local Thai take-away. Great value for money, good service and will definitely be returning here.

We arrived on time for our booking at 1900. The service initially for drinks was satisfactory. We were all looking at the menu deciding what to have and the waitress did not return. At 1945, which is three quarters of an hour later, we requested could they please take our orders. Whilst I appreciate they were busy for a Thursday evening the restaurant was not full. My husband ordered the chicken and cashews for the main meal and I had the soft crab - entrée size. When the meal was delivered my serving was for an entrée was what we expected but his was actually what you would expect for an entrée not a main meal, it was very small. We asked the waitress had they made a mistake and due to the language barrier she asked 'would you like some rice!!! Our complaint is the restaurant is expensive and to be charged $30.00 for a small serve as a main meal is not acceptable. We will not be returning.

AMAZING food and service. Counting down the days till we can return. Red duck curry was heaven in a bowl. I would definitely book in advance.

Great food - masaman curry and red duck curry were fantastic. Would prefer if you could BYO wine on Sat/Sun but that's a minor quibble.

My green chicken curry was not simmered in the green sauce. Just sliced cooked chicken with green curry sauce poured over it when it was placed in the bowl.

The food was nice but the noise level was extreme, never experienced that in any other restaurant. Friendly staff and valve for money but way too noisy.

Good service and great food, would recommend it. Restaurant was busy and added to the atmosphere. Will become our new local Thai go to spot.

The food was very tasty and the service was very quick. Staff were very accommodating and helpful in finding a table suitable to have a pram.

The restaurant has a lovely setting and feel to it and the service was great. The food was also really nice! Highly recommend the garlic and pepper chicken.

The food was fantastic amazing flavours, good service. Been before will go back again. Only disappointing thing was no byo on Saturdays but the wine was ok priced.

Excellent food, service was prompt, language barrier with wait staff on occasion. Very busy for a Tuesday night and quite noisy, more suited to a group booking than couples.

A great meal. Went on a Friday night and it was very full so the noise level was high. The food was, as usual, excellent. Never fails to be excellent. They have now changed the BYO rule so that there is no BYO on Friday and Saturday nights, which is disappointing as the wines are pretty expensive. The service was excellent and the staff attentive and happy. Overall we enjoyed the experience and will go again.

Great food and great service, but a rather noisy evening. The acoustics are rather poor and while it was great to hear folk enjoying a wonderful evening, we found quiet conversation challenging.

Beautiful food, service a little slow but very attentive! Our only draw back, it can get quite noisey! But who wants to talk when one can eat such DELICIOUS food!!!!

Not good . We waited for our food and drink . We had to remind the staff about our order several times . Not good for a 275 meal between 5 of us 😥

The food was outstanding. Service was quite friendly, though we felt a bit rushed. Both website & menu stated BYO w/ $8 corkage. Consequently we brought along a nice bottle of wine. Waitress informed us that new rule is no BYO on Fri & Sat night...

Dishes were all really good as usual. It was really busy and very noisy though. Took ages for drinks to arrive and then entree and meal arrived in quick succession.

we enjoyed our dinner there . We can take our time to enjoy our meals without the waitress rushing us. We started our dinner at 6.30 pm and left at about 10.00 pm.. We ordered desserts and drinks after our meals.

Had an enjoyable evening at Galangal. Hadn't been to their new location before - much larger than the East Victoria Park restaurant. Good was the same great quality. Had prawn and green papaya salad as starters and roast duck and barramundi as mains. Servings looked very small but we're surprisingly satisfying and of course delicious. Nothing was too chilli hot. Note that on Friday and Saturday no BYO. Would definitely return.

The food was lovely but the service was poor and the venue has very bad acoustics. We were sat next to the front door, there was four of us and we had to yell to have a conversation!

Galangal definitely rated to be in the top 5 restaurants in Perth on my list! Excellent food, staff very helpful and polite, clean and comfortable.

So so Disappointing!!! The food was overpriced for the quality. $5 for a small bowl of hard Jasmine Rice and almost $30 for a tiny dish of over cooked beef stir fry. I think this is the first and last time. 😞

We had a tasty meal but were disappointed there was no mention of their new fully licensed policy on Friday and Saturday night when booking.

When I booked it was the first time found easy to use the only frustration was that you were unable to book for half past the hour only on the hour. All good otherwise.

Great food and service. Highly recommend the crabs for starters and massaman beef curry with chilli chicken & cashews for Mains. Would definitely return again!

Very friendly wait staff, lovely flavours and great atmosphere in the room. Definitely worth a few repeat visits to try the rest of the menu!

Attention they took to my fine wine was appreciated. The combination of chilli garlic and other spices makes the food sensation exhilarating . Looking forward to going back.

Food was really great! Felt a little pressured as they kept asking if we had finished and wanted to take our plates away! We were still within our two hour sitting! Nice place and would go back again and highly recommend.

Great food and ambience and really lovely service. Customers are not taken for granted. These people care. Some dishes are quite stunning and taken altogether is good value. Curries very good. Mar Hor is nice. Great quality at the table with good flatware, candle, quality glassware and slick crockery. Deserves to be popular.

Dined with a group of 8 mates, we all loved it. We had outstanding service, and the BEST Thai food I've had in years. Couldn't fault them!

The food here is fantastic. We were a group of 9 and really enjoyed all dishes we ordered. The red curry duck was a stand out as well as the pork belly. We will definitely be returning.

Food was excellent- slightly disappointing service that let the food quality down. Decor was well appointed and enjoyed the ambience. Service was confusing, difficult to work out when dishes were arriving and different waiting staff who appeared unsure of their role.

Delicious food with professional table service. The dining room is stylish and comfortable. Prices are reasonable and BYO corkage is fine. Galangal is highly fecommended

Fantastic restaurant with excellent food. Our waiter seemed a bit new however was quite attentive. The Thai green curry and the dancing horses were absolute standouts!

Red duck curry was Yummy. The duck was tender and the skin is perfect. The Crispy Prok Belly is beautifully cooked. Good Food and Good Services

Brilliant food and service. However, it was very noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation and the air con was a little on the cool side.

As usual, the service was excellent, the food superb. Judging the way the restaurant filled up, we are not the only ones who think it is the best place to eat.

A great experience with a great vibe about it and delicious food. It had a good wine selection and a menu that makes your mouth water. The pork belly was a winner.

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday midweek. Restaurant was packed and the we understood why after tasting the food. Delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend the stir fry green vegetables to accompany meat dishes.

Well set up wasn't a problem on requesting to change of seating by senior staff. Food was delicious and definitely will make a return. It would be more comfortable if the table was bigger .
