We hosted our office Christmas party at the courtyard. It was fantastic. Good space, covered in case if rains. Staff were helpful in helping set up the decorations. Jay was very helpful and happy to help in the booking and organizing of our event. Overall a memorable occasion spent at the pub.

The service, selection and pricing is amazing. I love the fact that they bring the food to the table no buzzer and self pickup like at most other pubs these days. The staff are always friendly and helpful whether having lunch with a couple of friends or taking the whole team to lunch. The lunch specials are great value.

We booked in advance and still had to wait 2 hours for our food to come. It only came out after we had questioned it 3 times. Bar staff was rude, no manager stepping up. I ended up just asking for my meals in a to go box we waited that long

great irish food and drinks, the trivia night was alot of fun

We had a group Sunday lunch with friends at The General Bourke, food, service & venue was great. We were able to sit for hours, drinking eating & talking without any problem. The Beef & Guinness pie was huge & delicious. Very enjoyable afternoon, will go again!

This place is beyond redemption especially their manager. Having said that ... I'm NOT implying that their people were any better. No more next time.

The food was excellent. Even the employee/security at the entrance was friendly and guided us the right way to Bistro as we had never been there before. Highly recommend a visit if you are in town.

I ended up there on a meat raffle and lucky dip night. I was lucky it was still pretty quiet at the time I went since I was only out for a quick dinner and drink. I didn’t enjoy the cheese croquettes, but that came down to personal taste not the kitchen’s skill and presentation. The atmosphere was friendly and enjoyable and all the staff were nice even when it got loud.

Got the $15 lunch steak (which was small but you get what you pay for) and a Caesar (which was huge). Reasonably priced food and drinks

Food was great as was the service but I must say it was cold. You need heating though. Something to think about.

The lady behind the bar who took our orders was so lovely, friendly and professional. My only disappointment was that I ordered a steak medium rare and it was medium to well.

More staff required for busy periods and staff at the bar for drinks

Insufficient staff on - this was not a one off as I was there the day prior and same issue Our meals for 6 people same in 3 parts, with 20+ Mins in between Meaning we all ate separately. Not the point of a lunch.

Quick staff lunch and it went well. Food and service was fine.

The food was delicious, but the air conditioning was not good, to the point that we all had to leave early to find somewhere that had better air con. We were also a group of 15, and booked a table, but were seated at 3 different tables, which was disappointing for a team Christmas lunch. We'd go back for the food, but in cooler weather, and in smaller groups.

A little dissapointed as we booked for a table and our table wasnt reserved. Our food came back and was advised that it was Salmon but it was actually Burrumundi and the orders were mixed up.

We had a business dinner, with out of area guests, table service would be great when you have a more business approach instead of ordering at the bar.

Nice atmosphere not too crowded. Food was delicious. Desserts need improvement.

8 of us had lunch, wasn't overly busy - all food came out at different times, one meal cold and reheated instead of being replaced, then was cold by the time it came back to the table. one meal forgotten and took 45mins to arrive. Won't be back again. :(

i’m not sure if the bar staff were short or just really busy but every time we tried ordering a drink, the attendant would stop multiple times to help someone find something, or respond to another customers question which made the wait time quite long. It took nearly 9 minutes to have a Mojito made. The outside seating area needs to have more ash trays and the heaters should be scattered around and turned on instead of off and tucked away in a corner. But the food was good, the table set up was lovely and the music was good. I would just recommend the bar stocks apple juice as an option.

Book a table in advance but no table had been reserved when we got there. Food was really good.
