The food is always exceptional and incredibly fresh, and a lot to choose from. The staff are polite, helpful, and genuinely attentive. I would highly recommend Geonabe — it’s well worth the drive for a delicious Korean BBQ. Easily one of the best I’ve been to, and I’ve been to quite a few.

The service, atmosphere and food is always wonderful at Geonbae Hastings.

Head chef was really friendly and walking around talking to every table, making sure we’re all good. Also gave us food recommendations. All food and desserts were really yummy. Meat was really tender. It was our first time here and would definitely be back.

Food was amazing but we felt rushed. Arrived at 6.45 and by 7.45 a server came over to turn our grill off.

This was our 3rd visit to Geonbae. Everytime the owner has been amazing. He engages with our 16 month old grandson and always ensures that we are comfortable. This is our go-to restaurant when we have visitors. Love the food and variety.
